When I got back to school, Phil didn't talk to me much. When I saw him he would barley look at me but still give an occasional smile like nothing was wrong.

Later on after school, I called him and for some reason his mother answered it.

"Hello? Phil?"

"Oh hello Dan, it's his mother, how are you?"

"Oh, I'm fine, is Phil available?"

"Ummm....yes he is, would you like him over?"

"Uh, yes please if he can."

"He'll be right over,oh and tell your mother I said hi, goodbye now!"

"Goodbye."

Only a couple minutes later I heard a knock at the door. I didn't know who it was at first and when I looked it was Phil.

Phil always had a special knock. He would always do a regular knock, a quick knock and another regular one. I'll put it into a musical form. He would do a quarter note, eighth note, then another quarter note. But this time, it was 3 slow knocks. I opened the door and said

"Hey, what's up with you?"

He didn't reply then and just walked in, not in a rude way. He just walked up to my room and sat on my bed.

"Okay Phil, tell me what's up."

"Dan.....I.....I'm..."

The next words I heard were ones I hoped to never hear...but here I am with them flowing right through.

"Dan. I'm moving."
