Trouble Is Coming

#Chapter21

"Arabella!" I hear a voice say. "Arabella!" It says again.

I hear glass shattering.

People are screaming.

I open my eyes and I see Max running towards me.

Matt grabs my hands and says quickly," Bella you need to follow Max. Do everything he says to do. He will take you somewhere safe. Trust me. Don't look back. Tell Lucy I love her."

Then a sword stabs through his stomach.

He lets go of my hands. Blood runs out his mouth. And then I see the light leave his eyes.

A hand grabs my arm.

I shoot my head to see Max and he says, "Come with me Bella. I have Willow."

Max and I quickly run out of the garden. We both whip out our wings and fly off. Max takes my hand and he leads me to a little house.

When we get inside I burst out crying.

Max quickly puts Willow down and hugs me.

"He's dead. Max he's dead." I sob into his shoulder.

"He's not dead Bella." Max says.

I look at him confused and say, "Yes he is. Or did not see a sword through his stomach?"

"Yes I did indeed see that. However, lucky for Matt he was a werewolf before he died. So when he came up to Heaven, the ability for him to be able to heal, was sill there."

"Oh. So he's not dead?" I ask.

"No, he's very much alive. But he will need a week or so to heal." Max says.

"Thank god. So can you please tell me what happened back there."

"Well, you remeberd us. This demon, seems to be in love with you. We think he's connected to you somehow. When you remebered us, he got mad. So that's why shit went down at the wedding. But when Matt got stabbed, no one was there holding the sword. The sword floating somehow"

"Well why dosent God do anything about it?" I ask.

"God hasent returned in 10 years. He's still on Earth trying to keep it safe. No one is aloud to interrupt his mission no matter what"

"Well why is Saint Peter letting them in? Why isn't he descending them to hell?"

"Saint Peter is powerful, but Satin more powerful. He's getting stronger and we're getting weaker. And he knows that. That's why he's sending them up here. If he captures you, he can capture anyone. He wants you for a reason."

"What's the reason?" I ask.

"Your protecting Heaven Bella. My mother died saving Heaven. She was the protecter. And that ring that I gave you, gave you the power to save Heaven"

I just look at him.

"Arabella, please say something." He begs.

"You just used me. You didn't even ask me or tell me that I was now going to protect a place that I haven't even known about" I say hurt.

"What? No I didn't. Bella trust me I never used you. I love you."

"Then why did you give me the ring?" I ask trying to ignor that he just said that he loved me.

"Because that night that you screamed from a nightmare, was the night that made you ready. Your scream can kill hundreds of deamons, Bella. No one else's scream can do that. You scream woke everyone up, you saw it. My mother had the exact scream. Your gonna be the one that might just save us all."

And then he kisses me.

This time, I kiss him back.

"Maybe you should get out of your wedding dress. There's clothes in the back room." Max says braking apart from our kiss.

"Okay thanks." I say walking to the back room.

When I open the door I see a double bed with a crib next to it. I walk to the wardrobe and get a t-shirt and jeans.

I put them on and then walk out the room.

When I get to the kitchen, I see Max cooking some bacon.

"What is this place?" I ask him picking up Willow.

"This is our house. I had it built when I found out that you were coming back to Heaven." He says.

"It's cool. Kind of small." I say looking around.

He laughs.

"What?" I ask.

"I new you would find something wrong with it." He says.

"No, it's not bad. I'm just saying it would of been nicer if it was a bit bigger." I say.

"It's okay. Here, eat up." Max says giving me a plate of bacon and eggs.

"Thanks." I say.

I eat while Max is feeding Willow.

"So. We were together before I left." I say washing the dishes.

"Yeah. We were. That one stupid night, and out pops Willow." He says laughing.

"Is that why we called her Willow? Cause of the tree?" I ask.

"Yeah. You loved that tree." He says.

"How you guys make me forget about us?" I ask.

"I don't really know. Your mum took you to a place and when you came back, you didn't remember me or Willow."

"That sucks." I say.

Max and I watch some movies before falling asleep.

When we wake up, it's 9:30 pm.

"Well I think it's time to get some healthy sleep. Carter, Cole, Charlie and Luna will be coming tomorrow morning to figure out your safety." Max says getting up from the couch.

"Why is Luna coming?" I ask.

"Well you do need another girl besides Willow to keep you company." He says.

"Okay."

I quickly say goodnight to Willow and kiss her on her head.

I get into bed and fall asleep with Max.
