How Does He Know That?

Hamilton's POV

We walked outside and over to the slide, where the battle was happening. "Man, I haven't been as excited as this when I got to 3rd base with Adrienne!" Lafayette said, and John and Hercules screamed "Wow!"

"Wait... What's third base?" I said. "Pfft, it's a kiss on the cheek. Obviously."

"Alright. You ready now?" Said Thomas. "He asked if he was ready!" Echoed Madison.

"...Sure. You go first." I said, and crossed my arms. "Ladies, and gentlemen. You could have been anywhere on the playground, but you're here with us today. The issue on the table: Getting picked first for kickball." Said that Burr kid.

"Life, liberty, and the pursuit of winning games. It's not my fault if your friends kinda lame! These are wise words I looked up in a dictionary, Hamilton can't because he was off with Eliza gettin' frisky." He said, and everybody, except my new friends cheered. I looked over to a blushing Eliza.

"But Hamilton forgets, just cuz his mom can't pay her debts, she gets picked for benefits, that helps support the house in which he sits." He said. Oh heck no!

He's not bringing mommy into this. "Not true!" I shout.

"Oh, if the shoe fits wear it! If you can't kick a ball, why should my team bear it? Uh, out teams gonna win I'm afraid, sorry that I'm throwing so much shade. In Virginia, we're not all immigrants, quit acting so innocent, you just want to tear the US to the ground! Stand with me, in the land of winners, where we can actually afford to buy our dinners!" Said Thomas, and everybody roared in laughing and cheering.

My friends tsked in the background. How did he even find out we were poor? And that we're immigrants? I even found the most expensive-looking backpack for today. "Uh... Hamilton?... Your response?" Said Burr.

I still didn't answer, and people were still laughing. "Your response?" He whispered. I punched Jefferson in the face.

Washington's POV

"Okay, Martha. I love you too. Call you later, bye." I said, hanging up the phone. "At last, some free time." I muttered, kicking my feet up.

"Mr. Washington! Thomas is bleeding! And crying! Mostly crying!" Said Madison, panting... Nevermind the free time, I guess.
