Chapter 57

Alice Pov

Lily was freaking out. Im sure James was much worse than her. I had asked Remus when we saw each other in the hall. He had said "James is going insane. He eventually tired himself out and is taking a nap. Which Is good."
I explained how Marlene and Lily had a conversation for over a half hour. Lily finally realized that this is what she and James both want.
Lily had very bad nightmares the nights before the wedding. James had told us about this. We had given her sleeping potions during the nights.
Lily was so sadden by the fact her parents weren't able to be there, they had passed before James had asked her the big question. She was so upset Petunia refused to show up. Lily's sister is a nightmare. Lily just longs for her approval.

Soon the ceremony will be starting. I imagine. James and the others are almost ready. Lily is ready.
She is wearing an amazing white dress. She had told Marlene and I once 'It's always a Muggle tradition and I kind of like that one. I plan to stick with it as well' which was cool with us.
We refused to let James see Lily the day before the wedding. The Boys went to Remus's house for a few drinks of Butterbeer and some games. Nothing to big or else Lily would have all of their heads.
Everyone's sat down in the chapel. This is a very small ceremony I hope. They had closed the doors until Lily and Remus are ready. Mar and I are behind her.

The music sounds and the doors are pushed open by magic.
"You Ready for this Lily?" Remus says
"Yeah." She says sweetly
James Pov (Prongs)
The music starts to play so I know my precious flower is coming to me in a minute. The doors are pushed open by a spell. A very wonderful spell.
Remus and Lily enter from the doorway.
Sirius had to whisper to me to breathe. I saw Lily and I was amazed. She's so beautiful. She got up to me and Sirius and Peter. Remus handed her off to me and stood by Sirius.
I grabbed her hand as the preacher was talking.
I said my vows. Lily had cried during mine and had tears running down her face for her vows. Sirius handed the preacher the rings we set them on each other's finger. The preacher Said the last words telling me she was almost 100% mine "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." The priest said
I crashed my lips into hers as soon as he said those words. Everyone cheered and clapped.
Everything is perfect. I just hope it'll last.
