A few minutes later, the doctor came out and said,
"he is stable for a while"
She didn't want to go in and see him dying.
And so she stood at the window.
She then over heard him say, "I never got to tell her I liked her." Then all she could hear was the flatline.
He was gone, forever out of her life but she didn't enjoy it. After all she did love him.
