Hope is something that is rarely given up
When it is, hope is like tea draining from a cup
It's the thing keeping you alive
And keeps you moving like honeybees in a hive
Helping you reach your goals
It fills your heart's empty holes
Those who have no mirth in their eyes
May be either sick of everyone's backstabbing lies
Or hopelessness is what they may feel
Thinking if it will ever heal
If you lose hope, gain it back
Like snatching back your important stuff in a sack
Hope is important after all
As it always comes to your call
Some don't try hard enough
Others take it rough
Pay to my advice some heed
Hope is exactly what you need
To keep yourself strong
Not taking a step wrong
Recount this to every person and pay heed
Hope is everyone's need
