Anna lay in her bunk holding the kitten to her chest inside her jacket. She stroked it carefully. Quietly just staring at the bunk on top of her where some stranger was sleeping.

She swallowed. Sammy was sleeping with Hannah, Eliza was with her mother. Her father was with my mother. Anna had sunny. Anna still had Sunny.

Right now that was all she needed. Just something smaller than herself to care for. To keep her going. Anna sniffed remembering that face from before. The face of the Repeater sneering and those words he spoke. Those frightful words. She shut her eyes tightly.

Don't cry! Don't dare cry!

Anna then recalled the face of the other man. The strange strength he had.....with those animal eyes.....that....that...

Hesitated.

Why had he hesitated?

He had her then.

Why did that man hesitate?

Anna's eyes opened as she heard a heavy rumble. That same voice from before. The mechanical one, "We have reached our destination. We have reached our destination", it said.

Anna sniffed feeling the kitten stir and tried to meow.

"Shhh....shhh....I know it's scary. I'm here, I won't be going anywhere", whispered Anna. She looked at the small innocent kitten.

"We're just arriving.....to somewhere new....where ever we are", whispered Anna looking at the kitten petting it and stroking it.

It closed it's small little eyes under Anna's touch and she held it securely in her arms as the ship rumbled in through the cold tundra into the heavy city in Siberia known now as Siberia. Anna swallowed her skin prickling. She could already feel the cold. Biting at her. Taunting her.
