When you fall in love,
Don't fall to fast or to hard,
Don't jump into the unknown,
Please think about about leaving, going home,
Don't fall in love, but if you do,
Be sure someone will be there to catch you,
To break your fall, make sure their love is true,
Be sure that you will be caught,
This lesson is one I was not taught,
For if no one cares, like they didn't for me,
You get bruised and beaten up,
Torn apart by the ground,
As you hit the floor with a great pound,
You realize that maybe you were wrong,
You'll have to wait so long to reach the top,
To reach from where you fell from,
To recover from you're fall,
So when you fall in love,
Don't fall hopelessly or recklessly,
Climb down at your own pace,
Don't fall for just a pretty face.
