"Take out the money, Naruto." Jiraiya tries to take Naruto's money. Again.
"Oh no you don't." I say. "Naruto's keeping his money."
"Here you go." Sakura hands over her own wallet. "It's not much, but you can have it."
"Sakura, don't!"
Jiraiya takes her money, and counts it greedily.
"This will be enough."
He throws his summoning scroll at Sakura, and his backpack at Naruto.
"Scout the outskirts of the village."
"No! I'm not taking orders from an old geezer! I'll go wherever I want to!" I yell, slapping him.
So, Jiraiya goes into town, Naruto and Sakura scout the outside of the town, and I....go lay under s tree and watch the clouds.
"That geezer thinks he can order me around..."

After about an hour, I find Sakura and Naruto.
"Yo. Hey, Sakura, you do realize that Jiraiya took your money just so he could hang out with the ladies....right?"
"But he-"
"In the bushes! Naruto, jump!"
Naruto jumps.
I throw a kunai, and it hits it's target. Maybe. Okay, maybe not.
Naruto throws kunai knives from the air, and Sakura....just stands there.
When Naruto's knives come raining down, a ninja jumps out of the bush.
Naruto lands behind him, and the ninja turns around, holding four shuriken. Now, I can clearly see that our enemy is a girl, and not a guy, like I first thought. She wears a mask around her face, and only her eyes are visible. A tuft of orange hair pokes out the top of the mask that covers her head. She has stunning violet eyes, just like Nasaki.
"Who are you?" Naruto growls, and I jump behind the ninja to wrap a thread around her throat.
"Speak, damn you."
"Are you one of Orochimaru's ninjas?"
The girl's eyes widen at the name 'Orochimaru', and she throws a giant smoke bomb. She breaks the thread, and gets away.
"Where'd he go?!" Naruto yells.
"Don't move!" Sakura warns us. "There's-"
I almost step on one of the sharp spikes on the ground.
"Naruto!" calls Jiraiya's voice.
Jiraiya is running out of the village gates, faster than Kiba confronted with a giant tiger. He runs right past us, and I can see he's being chased by angry villagers.
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!"
"Talk later, run now!"
"If they're with Orochimaru," says Naruto, "I'll-"
"No, they're not with him! They're...well, different people! They're the bar bouncers."
Naruto, Sakura and I deadpan and look at Jiraiya.
"Bar?" Sakura asks.
As the villagers get closer, we take off after the Pervy Sage.

I get some much needed sleep while Jiraiya plots points on a map for us all. But I wake up when Naruto drags me out the door.
"Oi! I was sleeping!"
