Your Lie in April Alternate Ending

Chapter 3

With this new information Kousei went to confront Kaori but was quickly stopped by Hiroko, Koharu, and Nagi. Hiroko quickly wrapped him into a bone breaking hug. She started crying "Oh Kousei..." she cooed as she ran her fingers through his hair. She held his shoulders and looked him in the eyes "You played so beautifully. Saki would be so proud of you. It might not have seemed like it sometimes but she did truly love you and had your best interests at heart."

At the mention of his mother Kousei too started to cry into her shoulder. "Do you think it reached her?" he asked meekly.

Hiroko smiled ruffling his hair "You bet kiddo."

Kousei smiled down and saw Koharu pulling on his blazer. She handed a piece of paper to him "I drew this for you!" he looked down at the paper and saw him playing at the piano with sunflowers growing around him while behind him sat Kaori playing her violin in a wheelchair.

He smiled down at her and kissed her on the forehead. "It's beautiful. Thank you." She started giggling as Kousei turned to Nagi who had tears dripping down her face. "What's wrong?" he asked her concerned.

"Will I ever be able to play that beautifully?" she asked sadly.

Kousei wrapped her in a hug "You'll play even better!" he looked up and saw Takeshi glaring at him from around the corner. He quickly let go of Nagi "Um... well I gotta go! So bye!" he ran away before Takeshi could find him.
