"Ok river" I whisper, close to tears, someone actually cares about me so much. I sit up and try to fight back the tears, but the just come this time, I can't hold them in
"Hey, you can cry as much as you need to, I won't judge" he says and moves closer and hugs me
"River, I've known you for a matter of hours but i feel like Ive known you for my whole life" I sob into his shoulder
"I have that effect on people" he says, I can tell he's smiling
"Thank you so much, for everything, for being here right now" I say, I've stopped crying now
"That alright" he says wiping away my tears gently
"So" i say after a few minutes and I was all fine " What do you wanna do now?" I ask river
"I reckon sleeping is a good idea right now" he says with a soft smile
"I like the sound of that" I say and we lie back down under the covers
"You know its gets real lonely down here sometimes, and real cold" he says softly
"Well, its not tonight"
"I like that" he says
"By the way, you smell really nice"
River laughs softly "is that so"
"Yeah"
"Your such a little cutie" he says
"You are too" I say
"Thanks, goodnight Tashana" he says
"Goodnight River" I whisper and i fell asleep thinking when did i ever get so lucky
