I decided to take a break from all the words and put this is in... because it is important too...

This is especially for people who write at home. I have tried to work from the comforts of my bed (and i'm pretty sure a lot of you do too). Sometimes I am able to write something but most times I end up watching a korean series or fall asleep.

Defining a space for you to write (however simple that space is) more than inspires, it pushes you to do what you came there to do - write.

Where to start?

SPACE
It can just be a corner. It can be an unused closet space. It can be a totally different room (if you're lucky). It can even be just a floor space. The important thing is for it to be dedicated to your writing nook. Also, check if the area is well-lighted and ventilated, and if not, address the issue before you move things around.

TABLE and CHAIR
Even if you are just working on the floor, a laptop table is still important so you are not bending down as you type. It sounds trivial, but believe me, hours of hunching down will result in an achy back sooner or later!

Find that good sturdy table... that matches your good sturdy chair. You don't want to be too low or too high. The aesthetics are up to you, but the priority is your comfort (of course, not too comfortable that you end up sleeping instead of working, ok?)

YOUR STUFF WITHIN REACH
Of course there is the laptop, the typewriter (if anyone reading this still fancies using one) or good old paper... place them in their spots.

If your table is spacious enough, then go ahead and put the other things you will use regularly as you write. Your usb, mouse, pens.

Just the necessities, we don't want an over crowded work space.

After you've covered the basics, style as you please... :) (got some setups from google for inspiration below)

This last one is exceptional and inspirational in another level... I suddenly remembered seeing this months ago when it went viral and had to include it here. It goes to show your nook can be as basic as it gets, no excuses when you got this little boy who found a way where there seems to be no way...
