Jack paid for his meal then used his time stop to head out of the dinner.He was about to talk to max when he saw a monarch truck drive by.

Bang he jumped up when he heard that noise he ran only to see the two girls shooting at bottles he saw that max was using her powers to help aim the gun at the bottles. He was about to go down when he saw a monarch soldier in the distance spying on them so he used his time rush to go over to the soldier and knock him out then he got an idea.

After 15 minutes of tieing him up he woke up the guard to interrogate him the guy looked up and snared jack joyce he said we been looking for you. Jack just smiled and said oh your boss misses me but tell me he said as he smacked the guard with his gun what does the girl have to do with monarch.The guard glared at him and said yeah like you would like to know then in the distance a train whistle was heard.The guard then smiled evilly and said and it looks like her friend is about to make an unscheduled stop.Then not to far away jack heard yelling he smacked the guard and said what did you

On the tracks.Jack eyes went wide in realization that's right the guard said once that girl is dead the time user will be in such guilt that she'll turn to use one more time user on the team.But she can rewind time and save her.Maybe the guard but she will run out of energy soon you time fre-.And with that he knocked him out cold not wasting any time he ran over feeling time rewind over and over until he came to the railroad track when he looked right he saw the chloe stuck in the chronon trap with a train coming in and constantly going backwards.When he looked right he saw max trying to change the tracks while also constantly rewinding and looked exhausted while doing it.

Jack stood there yelling in his head think,think,think! Then he got and idea as he said well haven't tried this in a while he said as he extends both his hands at the train. Max tried to change the tracks but the lever won't budge.Max chloe yelled max turned to see the train she tried to rewind again but then realizing that her powers aren't working because she was exhausted all she could do was watch as the train came closer and closer then max closed her eyes and said NOOO!.........But then everything stopped she looked around to see that everything is frozen the train stopped chloe sat frozen wide eyed in fear the birds stood frozen.She looked at her hands asking did I do this?Then a voice came behind her said you ok she turned suddenly to see the same person at the diner only he wasn't frozen.She then said what the fu-.Shhh he said we can't stay here he said he started to walk when she said wait what about my friend sh-.I know he said then he did the strangest thing that she ever seen he knelt down by chloe and put his hands on her shoulder ten seconds later chloe jumped looking around her surrounding then at the guy she was about to panic until the guy said don't move he opened his hands and orange light surrounded her leg five seconds later she could move it. Max ran up to him and said how did you do that.then he stood up and said there's no time to explain right now just grab my hands and everything will be explain. chloe said not until you explain whats going on.the guy groaned and said i don't have time right now then grabed max and chloes hands then max felt herself moving fast until until 15 seconds later they all found themselfs next to chloes car.Both girls jumped back suprised. then before they could say anything else the guy said wait a moment then he extended his hands the everything unfroze and went to normal then he clapped his hand and turned around to look at the two dumbfounded girls and said to max what you thought you were the only one it was then that max went wide eyed her was some one with the same gift as her.Then the guy smiled and said well my name is jack joyce and iv'e got a lot of explaining to do
