Chapter 2 – Winners Announced

            It’s now October 13 and the Penguin Times said that the winners will meet their students in their igloo. Scarlet went in her igloo and she waited. She opens her igloo and Gary never arrived. Scarlet received a postcard from Gary. He told her to go to the book room. She arrived but she can’t see him. Allie’s mum gave her a parcel from Club Penguin that just arrived. It was a helmet that connects to the computer. Allie read the note. It said:

You are the contest winner! Your apprentice will give you a postcard and you must meet him / her in the chosen location. This helmet make you control your penguin so you can get and bring out things that you can’t do (Note: the helmet sends your brain waves to your penguin’s body. You’ll be able to feel anything in Club Penguin, to snow to water and etc. One more thing: you must remove the helmet first then log off!)

Allie wore the helmet and saw Gary on the couch. She pressed him and Gary saw her.

            “Hello teacher” said Gary.

To those who do not know Gary, he is a dark blue penguin with a lab coat and thick glasses. He is a famous inventor of Club Penguin.

            “Didn’t I saw you before with that trench coat” said Scarlet (Allie).

            “Umm, yeah! I remember. I had no choice but pick you from your advice” said Gary. “Can we go to your igloo?”

            “Sure” said Scarlet.

They arrived at Scarlet’s igloo. She closed her igloo so she and Gary can have some private time.

            “Sit in the living room couches Gary” said Scarlet.

He sat down and saw that Allie has a mini lab in her igloo. Scarlet went to the living room and she starts talking to him.

            “Ok, I know that you are having problems with disguises. So I want to know what else you are having problems with?” said Scarlet.

            “I’m having problems with my communication skills!” said Gary “I make a huge misunderstanding with my speaking ability”

            “Speech is another thing” said Scarlet.

            “How did you figure that so fast?” asked Gary.

            “Simple, I can’t understand you when you were saying that!” said Scarlet.

            “Oh, I see” said Gary. “So what are we going to do?”

            “Simple, were going out!” said Scarlet.

            “Then penguins will notice me!” said Gary.

            “Well, not like that you silly” said Scarlet.

            She brought out all her clothes that she has bought.

            “I’m going to dress you up!” said Scarlet.

She digs through her clothes to see what works for him. She saw an EPF hat she has from Operation: Hibernation from the Great Snow Race from September 2011, a white lab coat that’s different from Gary’s one, a friendship bracelet, and some square glasses. She put them on Gary and he started to look weird.

            “I look weird” said Gary.

            “Well, that’s the only clothes that can work for male penguins too” said Scarlet. “Sorry but it doesn’t matter! We will be going to the cove”
