Chapter 28: Memory Loss

            Scarlet has finally arrived at the Human world and returned to her normal body as Allie. Then she woke up and can see Lane and her parents.

            “Whu… where am I?” asked Allie.

            “Allie! You made it!” said Lane.

            Allie was shocked that she is in the Club Penguin office in Kelowna and that she is face to face with Lane who is one of the Founders of Club Penguin.

            “OMG! I’m with Lane Merrifield!” said Allie.

            “Calm down!” said Lane. “Now do you remember anything?”.

            “All I remember is the Pizza Parlor going to fall down then I wanted to sacrifice myself then everything became pitch black” said Scarlet. “What year is this anyway?”.

            “2014” said Allie’s mum.

            “Then I must have been asleep for two years”

            Then something glowed in Allie’s neck. It was the necklace Gary gave her.

            “Whoa!” said Allie. “What is this?”

            “It’s just a necklace Allie!” said Lane.

            Allie was looking at it and she couldn’t remember a thing but it just looked familiar.

            “Anyway, Allie, I was talking to your parents and they allowed me to have full custody of you!” said Lane.

            “What!” said Allie. “No! No, no, no, no, no! There is no way that I’m going to be away from my parents!”

            “Alicia, it’s just… we are having struggles in our divorce and when Mr Merrifield saved you, we knew that you can have a better life with him” said Allie’s dad.

            “So I’m like a problem to you?” asked Allie.

            “Allie, I’m sorry but it’s for the best!” said Allie’s mum.

            “Please be reasonable!” said Lane.

            “Fine, but did you like went to court or something?” asked Allie.

            “Yes!” said Allie’s dad. “We signed the papers”

            Allie felt bad. She thought that she will be with her parents but they just don’t want her anymore.

            “Allie, we packed all of your stuff and send them to Lane’s house” said Allie’s mum.

            “Oh, so I guess that should play along then” said Allie. “Ok stepfather! What’s going to happen?”

            “Don’t worry, I can manage her attitude!” said Lane to Allie’s mum.

            “Ok Alicia, we will be going then” said Allie’s dad.

            Allie’s parents left the building and Allie was left with Lane as her new stepdad. So she asked Lane something about what happened.

            “Lane, what happened when I tried to save the Pizza Parlor? Did Gary and I won? Are there any new features? I need to know to catch up!” said Allie.

            “Check your account” said Lane.

            They went to his office and she logged on as her penguin. Then everything was new. She looked at her stamp book, she has met all characters, she got all of their backgrounds and they are friends except for the Puffle handler. She can see that only 10 Characters are her best friends. She still has infinite membership and was surprized.

            “How did I meet all these characters?” asked Allie.

            “Umm…” said Lane.

            “I’m so happy! Though a bit confused though” said Allie.

            “Allie, you just woke up, maybe we should go home” said Lane.

            They went to the parking lot and Lane drove her home. Then her necklace started to glow for no reason. It could mean that she still has her Link Powers but they are sealed.
