httyd alternate ending part 2

Hiccup was laying on his bed, when he felt a thunk. He looked under his bed to see his black-scaled buddy staring back at him with a gummy smile.

"Toothless, what are you doing here?! My father could find you!"

Toothless rumbled, and crawled out from under the bed.

"How did you even fit under there?! There is like no room!"

Toothless just looked at him with a face that said 'when I want something, I get it. Even if it goes against every law ever created'. I believed it too.

"What am I going to do with you, Toothless? My dad has men out searching for you, so you can't return to the cove, and you can't stay here...oh, I know. We could fly away together, just you and me exploring the far reaches of the world! We wouldn't have to worry about status or anything!" The more Hiccup thought about it, the better it sounded.

Hiccup packed a bag there and then. He quickly wrote a note to his father, Gobber and Astrid:

Dear dad, Astrid, and Gobber,

I decided that if you wouldn't accept my dragon and me, I would run away. Toothless and I left to explore the world. Thank you for all you did for me, and I hope we will cross paths again in the future. Goodbye,
