The story begins in Draco and Hermione's third year at Hogwarts. There will be a few chapters in that year, then one in their 4th year for the Yule Ball. But then I'm going to skip ahead to their sixth year since Draco wasn't really in the Order of the Phoenix. Draco's struggle during the Half-Blood Prince will be a main part of the story. Then the rest of the chapters will take place outside of Hogwarts/
I will alternate regularly between Draco and Hermione's point of view. And there might be another person thrown in there every once in a while when I write something that is not going on around either of them. There will be several twists and turns during the story ;)
I try to stick to Draco's personality the best I can, even as he becomes a sweet boy....

I could see the fear in her eyes. But I knew she was more scared for me than for herself. She was the one that was in danger of being killed. But she was still worried for me as well.
"No one will find out," I whispered to her. "We'll run away together. I won't let them hurt you. I'll protect you."
Her eyes sparkled with tears, but she nodded. I wrapped my arms around her again tightly and never wanted to let go.
