a perk of sitting right in the front of the room
was that the teacher often overlooked me;
which was great for i am able to draw in my textbooks
or stare out the window, going unnoticed.
and as i turn around to gaze out that window,
to view the freedom: the fluttering butterflies,
the birds that soar, and the flowers growing without any worries;
my eyes fall upon the boy in the back of the room,
the boy who rarely ever participates in class discussions,
the boy who always sits as if he doesn't have any worries in this world,
the boy who goes unnoticed,
but not by me,
i am envious of him.
