A sea of strange faces passing me byThe scent of alcohol, the sound of fun, the dizzy neon lights
The cackle of laughter, the conversation of peers
The sound of my heart breaking, my eyes dripping in tears
I saw you last night at the party for New Year's Eve
Linked arm in arm with your new girl, I believe
You entered the room, I was the first person your eyes set on
But you looked away, in fact, to you I was already no one
You had fun with your friends, talking about the usual nonsense
I mingled on with the others, but your presence here still bothers
I'm just here sulking watching you be happy and letting you be,
But the reason behind your happiness is not anymore me
🎉💔🎉💔
