Previously on The Vampire Diaries...
As I sat in my bed, I couldn't help but think about today's events. I glance at the picture on my nightstand and grabbed it. The picture is of me, Elena,  and our parents. I looked at it for a moments then placed it down on my lap.
I grab the cell phone that I took from the man that was run over earlier and I open the phone and found the last number that was dialed. Before I can change my mind, I call the number and placed the phone to my ear. After a few rings, a woman picks up on the other end.
"Was there a problem? Did you find her? What's going on?" A woman asks.
I knew who it was. It is Isobel. I feel tears threaten my eyes as I attempted to speak.
"Is-Isobel?" I stutter.
The woman, Isobel,  hangs up without another word. I shut the phone and looked at the picture again, tears flowing down now.
"Adrian," Damon whispers and I look at him.

"What are you doing here, Damon?" I ask as I fold my arms over my chest.
"You're upset," he points out. "What happened?"
"Like you even care, Damon!" I retort. "You killed me for a part in your plan, most likely to get back at Stefan for whatever the hell he did and you pretended to love me."
"I know and I am sorry for that, Adrie. I really am," he says.

I could tell by the look on his face, he was actually really sorry

I could tell by the look on his face, he was actually really sorry. He is hurt to find out a woman he loved and thought to be in trouble never really was and never loved him.
I then decided to do something I never thought I would do: I hug him and he is shocked.

"I want to be friends, Damon," I say

"I want to be friends, Damon," I say. "I will be there for you."
Damon pulls back and gives me a smile as he backs up to the window.
"Are you sure you don't want to talk?" Damon presses.
I look down and shake my head as I tuck my hair behind my ear.
"Not right now," I say with a frown. "I think I should go to bed, Damon. I am still very mad at you. Can we talk tomorrow?"
"Sure," Damon says with a nod.

Mystic Falls High School
"Damon hasn't said a word to me," Elena was saying to Stefan and I. "Every time I try to talk to him he shuts me down. Do you think he's still trying to find Katherine?"
"I don't know. Who knows. Save Katherine, save Elizabeth, it's all the same," he responds. "He waited a hundred and forty five years only to find out that both of them could not care less. I mean it's gotta hurt, right?"
"And it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy," I joke.
"You have every reason to be upset with him. Have you thought any more about what you're going to do?" Stefan asks me.
"About what? Isobel, my vampire birth mother, who's related to my vampire ancestors Elizabeth and Katherine, who screwed over your vampire brother?" I ask sarcastically. "Nah... I haven't thought about it at all."
Stefan smiles a bit. "I'm sorry I brought it up."
"Adrian's right. It'd just be nice if we could get through one day without having to deal with any of it," Elena interjects. "No vampire mother or brother."
Stefan and I look at each other and I scratch the side of my nose then we looked at Elena.
"No vampires at all?" Stefan asked.
"No vampires but you and Adrian," she responds. "I just want to get us back to normal stuff like school and homework and here's a thought: fun."
"Ooh, that sounds good to me, when do we start?"
As I began to walk off, I received a text message and I look at it to see Damon.
Damon: Are you still mad at me for what I did to your birth mother?
Me: I am mad at you for a lot of things, Damon.
Damon: I thought you wanted to be friends.
Me: Oh, I still do, but some things will take time. I need time. You can't say sorry Adrian for turning your birth mother into a vampire. Wanna go for coffee?
Damon: I can try.
Me: Damon!
Damon: Ugggg! Things where so much simpler when I could compel you.
Me: You mean when you were stripping away my free will?
Damon: Yes!! It was so much hotter!
Me: 🤦‍♂️
Me: 🙄 Okay, Christian Grey. I have to go to class.
I put my phone in my pocket and headed to my class.

"I'm thinking nothing huge, just a dinner at the grill maybe a late movie," Caroline was telling Elena and Stefan.
"You mean like a double date?" Stefan clarified.
"Two pair out on a Friday night coupled. Yeah a double date," Caroline responds.
"Do you think that's a good idea?"
"Why not? You guys haven't gone out together before and it shouldn't be uncomfortable," I added.
"Adrian is right," Caroline say quickly. "Look the couple dynamics have changed and there's been a little awkwardness between you, Matt, and me and I just think it's important that we get over it."
I look at Elena and I saw that she looked really uncertain about this.
     "I don't know," she admits.
"I think that sounds like a great idea," Stefan jumps in.
Elena and I look at each other and Stefan just smiles.
     "You do?"
"Yeah. A nice evening out with friends. Sounds fun, as in 'fun'."
"A double date it is," Elena announces and looked at me. "What about you?"
"So I can be the fifth wheel? No way," I respond then laughed.
     "You should come," Caroline agreed.
I started to protest but Elena stops me.
"Come on," she whispers. "Just forget about Damon."
I sigh and thought about that for a few seconds. If Elena is doing this, she's going to make me do this. Unfair, I tell you.
     "Okay, fine," I sigh.
"Okay, So, we will see you tonight," Caroline says excitedly.
     "Okay," Elena says.
Caroline walks away and the three of us share a look and I laugh.
     "Okay," I repeat.
Elena and Stefan started to walk off and I caught up to them.
"Elena, I have to do something. But I will meet you guys later though."
She gives me a curious look but nods her head. As I stopped at the door of the Salvatore Boarding house, I see Damon's blue convertible pull up.
"Skipping class to hang out with me?" Damon asks as he does his eye thing.
I roll my eyes. "I feel that telling you how much I hate you is not good enough over messages. It's better in person."
This time Damon rolls his eyes and he pushes open the door.
"If I had known who she was, I wouldn't have done it!"
We step into the parlor and I cross my arms over my chest and gave him a look. He started to say something but stopped and looked to the side of us.
I turn my head in the direction he is looking to see Anna and Pearl are waiting for us.
"Hello Damon," Pearl says.
Pearl narrows her eyes at me and I do the same.
"Ever hear of knocking?" I ask.
"An invitation wasn't necessary. I'm surprised that no living person resides here," she replies calmly and looked at Damon. "Is it just you and your brother?"
"Yeah. How do you keep out unwelcome vampires?" Anna adds.
"I kill them."
Damon runs towards Pearl and tries to strangle her but Pearl twists his wrist and pushes him to the floor.
"Have a seat, Damon. I was hoping we could have a word," she says calmly.
"Sure."
Damon slowly rises and then sits on the couch. Anna turned to me and I roll my eyes at her as I walked to the couch and took the empty seat next to Damon.
"Is the tomb nice and cozy for ya'?" I ask and smiled.
"We've taken up residence at a farmhouse just outside the town," Pearl replies. "It'll suffice for now."
"All 25 vampires?" Damon asks.
"Not all, some. I imagine that a few have already left town. Others are probably still in the woods or like us acclimating."
"How did they get out of the tomb?" Damon asks.
"I think the witch screwed up that part of her hocus pocus," Anna says.
"I understand from Anna that the founding families still have a secret council?" Pearl questions as she eyes the both of us.
"And you're a part of it," Anna finishes and looks at me. "Both of you."
"That's ridiculous," Damon scoffs.
"I've been in Mystic Falls since the comet, Damon," Anna replies with a know it all face. "I'm up to speed."
"And so am I. And now that you've infiltrated the council, I'll need to know everything they know. Starting with a listing names of all the council members and their families."
"And everyone you've supplied with vervain," adds Anna.
"Yes, that will have to stop immediately," Pearl replies.
I roll my eyes at her. "What exactly are you trying to achieve?"
"Mystic Falls is our home. They took that from us. Our land, our home. It's time we rebuild," Pearl replies somberly.
"What, are you crazy? It was 1864. Wake up woman. The world has moved on," Damon sighs.
"As a reward for your help I'm willing to give you what you want most."
"I want nothing..."
"Elizabeth."
I look at Damon and my eyes flickered from Damon to Pearl then back to Damon, anticipating his answer.
"You wouldn't even know where she was," is Damon's reply. "You've been under the ground for the last century and a half."
"Katherine, Elizabeth, and I were best friends long before we came to Mystic Falls, Damon. I know how they think,I know her patterns, I know where to find her."
"I no longer have any desire to see Katherine or Elizabeth ever again," Damon retorts. "And there's no way in hell I'm gonna play the role of your little minion."
Damon and I go to stand up but Pearl gets up and pushes Damon on the couch.
"I'm not asking for your help, Damon," Pearl says sternly. "Finding Katherine and Elizabeth was just a mere gesture of kindness. The rest is non-negotiable."
She puts her fingers in Damon's eyes and pushes him on the floor. I hear myself let out a yelp of surprise and horror and covered my mouth. I go to move but Anna moved as well, making me stop instantly.
'I have four hundred years on you, little boy. I'll rip you from limb to limb without even blinking and you know it. I'll be in touch," Pearl says.
Pearl and Anna give me a look and they both leave the house. I touch Damon's shoulder and he slaps m hand away, making me jump back in shock.
"Damon?" I ask wi wide eyes.
He just state on the floor as he roamed in pain. I slowly backed up towards the door and quickly left, using my speed to get back to my house.
As I make my way in, I hear Elena and Stefan talking in the kitchen.
"You know, you think that for someone who was around when the car was invented you would have one," Lena was saying to him.
"Oh, I have one. I just never drive it," Stefan replies.
I take a deep, deep breath to steady myself before I walk nonchalantly into the kitchen.
"You know, it's not too late to cancel," Elena says.
I stop what I was doing and gave her a look.
"Why would you do that?" I ask
"I don't know," she responds and then turns back to Stefan. "I don't know, it just seems surreal. Like maybe we weren't meant to get to the normal part."
"That's exactly why we're going to do it. We're going to go out, have some fun and try to remember that we don't have to be so serious," he responds. Elena still remained unconvinced. Stefan rubs Elena's arms lovingly as she stares at him.
"Listen, when I decided to stay here and to get to know you, it so that I could do things like this. Bring my girlfriend flowers, take her out on a date, and try to be normal."
"Have you ever even been on a double date before?" I quip.
He gives me a look. "Oh, absolutely. '72, Hef and the twins."
     "What?" Elena asks.
     "Yeah...playmates. I got Miss June."
Elena and I let out a small laugh and we smiled at each other then at Stefan.
     "Are you serious?" Elena asks.
I let out a small  as I grab an apple from the fridge and made my way up to my room.
"Aren't you joining us, Adds?" Elena asks.
     "Elena..."
"You know damn well Caroline will never let it down," Stefan replies as he drops his gaze at me.
With a sigh and a roll of my eyes, I agree.
     "Fine."

Damon's P.O.V
Wearing my sunglasses, I go straight to the bar and sat down in my usual seat.
"What's with the glasses inside?" A woman asks.
I merely glacé at her. "My eyes were a little sensitive today."
      "You're new around here."
I resisted the urge to tell her to leave me alone in a not so nice way. I just managed to roll my eyes and removed my glasses.
"On the contrary, I'm very old," I reply as I turn to the bartender. "Bourbon, neat."
"I haven't been gone that long. I would remember someone who looked like you."
"Yeah. Where did you go?" I ask, not really interested at all.
      "Around, about," she replies.
I had to chuckle at her response. Those places are quite familiar to me.
"I've been there." I down my drink.
"I love to see a man drown his sorrows. It's so sexy."
"It's more like nursing my wounds," I corrected. "And you?"
"I was supposed interviewing for the bartender job but I think the manager blew me off," she replies.
      "Well, that's not very nice."
"Yeah. Last time I was in town I slept with her boyfriend."
     "That's not very nice either."
     "It happens," she shrugs.
"Yes it does," was my reply.
From the corner of my eye, I see Jenna walk up to the bar and she smiles when she sees the woman. From the look on their faces, they know each other.
"Kelly? Kelly Donovan?" Jenna asks with surprise.
Donovan? As in Matt Donovan? She must be his mother.
"Jenna!" Kelly responds.
I watch as the two women hug each other.
"I heard you were back in town," she says then turns to me. "She used to babysit me."
"And then I used to party with her," Kelly adds.
"This woman is crazy."
"Not as crazy as you."
"I'm not anymore," Jenna corrects.
"Well sit, drink!"
"I shouldn't," Jenna says as she shakes her head. "I'm more responsible now. Haven't you heard?"
"Well, take a night off its good for the soul."
"Great for the soul," I agree.
Jenna sits down with Kelly and I.
"This is not going to end well," Jenna laughs.
"Can't wait."
We all raise our glasses up in the air and clinked them together. I still could not stop thinking about what I did to Adrian.
********************
Adrian's P.O.V
"So, Matt, How do you like working here?" I ask, wanting desperately to start tonight's conversation.
He shrugs. "It's not that bad. Wait staff is pretty good and they can't keep a bartender to save their lives. I actually put my mom up for a job."
"How has that been?" Elena asks. "Having Kelly back?"
"You know, same old Kelly. She's trying, sort of."
"Kelly and my mom were best friends growing up. That's how Matt and us first met," I say as I wrap an arm around Arlen's shoulders, "we shared a crib together."
"You're kidding?" Stefan asked amused.
"No, we have known each other our whole lives," Matt smiles.
I watch as Elena and Matt look each other and Caroline sighs. Someone with dark hair and a leather black jacket catches my eye and I freeze when I see Damon drinking with Aunt Jenna ... and Kelly.
The rest of them notice my frozen state and they see the trio at the bar.
"You got to be kidding me," Matt says with exasperation.
********************
Damon's P.O.V
"Don't be grumpy. It can't be that bad," Jenna says.
"You'd be surprised. My primary reason for existence has abandoned me and after today's events," I say, fighting the urge to call Adrian and argue with her annoying, but sweet mouth. "The remains of the shakey ground that I walk on are about to go kaboom. Let's get hammered."
"Let's," Kelly agrees.
We clink our glasses together again once more and drink.
********************
Adrian's P.O.V
Caroline, Elena, Stefan, Matt, and I are at the pool table attempting to play pool but I keep on watching Damon, Kelly and Jenna.
"At least they're having fun," Caroline mutters.
"They're drunk."
"Remember when Elena and Adrian's parents busted us here after the homecoming?" Matt asks, a large smile appearing on his face.
Caroline laughs. "Oh my god yes!"
Stefan watches us as we talked about the memory and gave us a confused look.
"Well, we were wasted; it was the first time I ever got drunk. I blame Matt," I say and nudged him.
"Their parents got seated at the next booth," Matt continued.
"And Matt had me pretend that I was choking so we could get away," Elena adds.
"Except...?" I ask as I shoot the cue ball, making a sold red into the middle left pocket.
"Their dad was a doctor so he jumped up to save her."
"And I ran, slipped on the wet floor and bit it in front of everyone," Elena recalls and turns to me. "Do you remember that? Three stitches, a hangover for days and I was grounded from seeing this one..." She looks at Matt, "... for a week."
Matt, Elena, and I look at each other and laugh.
"I'm gonna go to the restroom. Elena?" Caroline asks.
Elena and Caroline walk off while Stefan, Matt, and I continued to play.
"Do you need to go to the little girls room, too?" Matt teases.
"Right after you go in there... again," I retort, making another pocket.
"I still want my twenty dollars you owe me."
Just as I was moving the stick to hit the cue ball, Matt pokes my side and I scratched.
"Damn you, Matt!" I say and push him.
"Wait, what?" Stefan asks and laughs.
"When Matt and I were thirteen--"
Matt covers my mouth. "Shut up, Adrian."
I lick his hand and he jumps back, wiping it on his pant leg.
"Don't cover my mouth then," I retort. "Anyway, we were here and I said to Matt, just out of the blue, 'Matt, I bet you can't go into the girls' bathroom.'"
"Guess what I did next?"
"You went into the girls' bathroom," Stefan finishes and laughed.
I hear Jenna laughing and I looked at her. I get my phone out and texted her.
Me: Having fun?
Jenna: Yeah. Where are you at?
Me: Here 😘 Over by the pool table.
Jenna turns quickly to look at me and I smile and wave. Then then turns back around and gets closer to Kelly. I listen in on what they are saying with a smile.
"Hide. We're not here," Jenna was saying to her.
"Why? Where'd we go?" Kelly responds.
"Children under our care. Five o'clock. This is not good."
Kelly turns her head and sees me then looks at Matt, who was still talking to Stefan.
"Damn!" She sighs.
"Is there anything you're not good at?" Matt asks Stefan, snapping my out of my thoughts.
"Double dating. This is all kind of new to me. I usually keep to myself. I don't always fit in," Stefan replies.
"Neither does fifth wheel," I reply.
Matt rolls his eyes at me then turned to Stefan. "That's because you're that guy."
"What guy?"
"The guy who seems like he has everything, so the people that don't, kind of run the other way," Matt says.
"Is that what I seem like?"
Matt nods once. "Pretty much."
"Hmm...What a dick!" Stefan says and laughs.
"Yeah."
I head to the bathroom to see what's taking Elena and Caroline so long. As I was passing some guy catches my arm, making me stop and look at him.
"Katherine?" He asks.
I shake my head. "I'm sorry, you have the wrong person."
As the man realses me, Elena and Caroline come out of the bathroom. Elena looked frustrated and Caroline had the same look she always has on her face.
They both stop when they see the man has a hold of me, who then releases me.
      "My mistake," the man says.
I slightly nod my head as the man releases me and we return to the pool table with Matt and Stefan. I could tell that man was still looking at me.
"How's everything going?" I ask nonchalantly.
      "Matt's cheating."
"No need, I'm awesome," he replies with a smile.
I take my phone out to quickly type a text and Elena gives me a look. Stefan notices and nudges me.
     "Everything's okay?" He asks.
I smile and nod. "Everything's great."
I turn my phone so he could read the message.
Me: That man over there just called me Katherine.
Elena reads it as well and Stefan walks towards where they were but they have disappeared.
I turn back to our waiting friends. "Do you guys want to head over to Stefan's?"
"Sure," Caroline says and smiles at Matt.
********************
As Elena parked her car, we started to get out, discussing what had happened.
"So, you didn't recognize him, you haven't seen him before?" Stefan questions.
"No, there was nothing familiar about him at all," I say, shaking my head.
Stefan sighs and we all share a look. He then looks at Elena and grabs her hand.
"Right, let's call it a night. Okay?" He says to her. "Send Matt and Caroline home?"
"No, the whole point of the night was to not have to deal with this stuff," Elena protests. "We need to get through one night. One normal night."
     "You're sure?"
"No, I'm not sure, but I don't know what else to do. Look, if there's another vampire in town, he'll still be here tomorrow. We'll deal with it tomorrow."
"Okay," I sigh and give Stefan a look.
As I stepped out of the car, Matt and Caroline arrive.
"It's them. Come here," Stefan says to Elena as they step out with me.
Stefan kisses Elena. I rush past them and made my way into the house and headed down stairs and quickly found the freezer for the blood bags.
I quickly suck one down as Caroline, Matt, Stefan, and Elena are entering the living room and I join them.
"This is much better than watching Damon visit cougar town," Caroline was saying and then turned to Matt. "No offence."
"Don't remind me," he mumbles and looked around Stefan's house. "Man I've always wanted to see what it looks like in this place."
"Yeah, I guess it's a bit much."
"Yeah, my entire house could fit in here. like twice," Matt laughs.
"Feel like I've been here before. It's weird," Caroline murmurs.
Elena and I share an uncomfortable look and she makes her move to quickly change the subject.
"Do you guys want to watch a movie or something?" She suggests.
"Whoa; these are great!"
I turn to see what Matt was talking about and he walks towards Stefan's miniature cars collection.
"This is uh ... a little hobby of mine," Stefan replies shyly.
"I did the entire Mustang series when I was nine," Matt recalls.
"You like cars?
Matt quirks an eyebrow at Stefan. "It's an understatement."
"Come with me," Stefan says.
The four of us follow Stefan outside and he opens the garage door.
"Prepare yourself, my friend," Stefan jokes.
He moves around and removes the tarp from a car.
"Wait, how do you have this?" Matt asked, amazed.
Stefan shrugs. "Got passed down through the family."
I started to say something but he gave me a look and I closed my mouth quickly, a smile coming on my lips.
Stefan opens the car's driver door.
"Why don't you ... I mean ... Why don't you drive it?"
Matt was overwhelmed with excitement. I do believe this is too much for his little car collector heart to handle.
"Well, it doesn't run. I mean, it's not that I could figure out."
"Why would you keep a car that doesn't run?" Carline quips.
Matt gives her a smile. "Be more of a girl right now?"
Caroline laughs and gives Matt a look.
"Hey, want to come take a look at this for me?" Stefan asks Matt.
"Elena, remember the old Camaro you're dad used to have?" Matt asks her.
Uh-oh. I look at Caroline and her face falters.
"Of course," Elena replies, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"I built and rebuilt that engine 20 times."
"Wow," Stefan says.
"don't like sports cars; they're too hard to make out in," Caroline replies with a small smile.
Matt looks at Elena with a laugh. "It wasn't that bad."
Caroline frowns and when Matt realized his mistake, he looks at Elena uncomfortable. Caroline leaves the garage and I chase after her.
Caroline stopped at the fence and leaned up against it. I could hear her heart beating with jealousy and anger.
"Caroline ..."
"I don't want to talk about it," she says quickly.
"You're being ridiculous," I retort.
"And insecure and stupid. But that doesn't change the fact that Matt's always gonna be in love with Elena and I'm always gonna be the back up."
"You're not the back up. What would you know about being the back up, Caroline?" I ask with a scoff.
"I'm Matt's Elena back up; I'm the Bonnie back up," she lists.
"Now it's about Elena and Bonnie?" I laugh. "Sounds like you're blaming all of your issues on other people."
I came here to help her, but why does she make it so damn hard to help her?
"You don't get it. Why would you?" She retorts.
"I get it more than you know, Caroline. Elena is everyone's first choice," I say softly. "I have been living in her shadow for years. And must I remind you, you always chose her over me. Third grade slumber party."
Caroline thinks for a moment and looks down.
"Right. I wasn't fair. That wasn't fair," she mutters.
We look at each other and smiles, giving me a hug. My eyes grow wide as I realized what she was doing. This has never happened before.
Stefan and Matt pull up in the Porsche besides us as we pull away and they get out of the car.
"Piece of cake!" Matt declares.
Matt looks at Caroline and she looks away.
"You know what? Why don't you guys go ahead and take it for a spin?" Stefan asks them.
Matt's eyes lit up. "Really?"
"Yeah."
"Caroline?" Matt asks as he looks at her.
Caroline looks at me and I motion for her to go with my head. They get into the car and the three of us watch as they go.
Stefan embraces Elena.
"You alright?" He asks he.
"If it's not vampires, its girlfriends," she laughs.
They embrace each other and I wonder off towards the house. I just looked at the movies, deciding on a couple we could watch.
The door opens and I pick up the four movies, walking out of the parlor.
"Hey. So, I picked these movies we could watch, and--"
I cut myself off as I look up and see Damon and Kelly making out. I gasp and my eyes go wide. Caroline and Matt enter the house seconds later and a look of hurt crossed his face.
"Mom?!"
"Damon?!" Caroline gasps.
"Oh my god, Matt!" Kelly breaths. "Oh my god."
She takes her things and quickly leaves. Elena and Stefan step into the house, looks of concern on their face.
"I got to ..."
Caroline shakes her head. "It's fine, just go."
"I'll take her home," Elena says apologetically to Matt.
Matt nods and turns to Stefan. "Thanks, man."
Matt gives the keys to Stefan and leaves. Caroline, Elena, Stefan, and I look at Damon and he just sips his drink.
As Stefan walk Elena and Caroline out to Elena's car, I turn and glare at Damon with crosses arms.
"What is wrong with you? Scratch that, that is not wrong with you?"
"I am not in the mood, Adrian," Damon replies.
As he goes into the living room, I follow him and grabbed his shoulder, turning him around to face me. He gives me a look but I did not back down.
"How could you do that to my friend, Damon?"
"It didn't even mean anything!" He retorts.
I shake my head and back away from him as Stefan arrives and looks at him.
"Don't look at me like that," he snaps.
"Are you crazy?"
"Save the lecture. Look ..."
Suddenly a man jumps through the window, jumps on Stefan and stabs him with a piece of glass.
I recognize him from the Grill and I move to push him off but he shoves me back. Damon pushes him off Stefan and starts to fight with the guy.
I help Stefan remove the piece of glass as a woman arrives and begins to fight with us. She pushes him to the floor and I grab a handful of her hair and pulled. Stefan takes the leg off a wooden chair and stabs her in the heart and Damon sends the man across the living room.
The man looks at Damon, Stefan, and I, then looks at woman, who is dead. He leaves in a blur. I turn quickly to look at Stefan and Damon.
"What the hell?" I demand.
"Damn it," Damon curses.
"I remember them from 1864. They were in the tomb," Stefan says, panic rising in his voice.
"Yeah ... About that."
"Those vampires are with Pearl?" I ask with surprise.
Damon rolls his eyes and slightly pinches my arm as he walked to the woman's body.
As Stefan called Elena, I helped clean up the mess.
"Are you still mad at me?" Damon asks as I help him with the body.
As I look at him, Stefan walks to us and we look at him.
"Could you help us out a little bit?" Damon asks with a smile.
Stefan helps get the woman's body into the fireplace and I plop down on the couch. Too much excitement for one night. Dealing with Caroline, seeing Damon make out with Kelly, and dealing with tomb camps that thought I was Katherine.
"Are you staying the night?" Damon asks.
"I don't know," I say and rub my tired eyes. I'm a vampire, why am I tired? "Are you going to make out with other moms tonight?"
"I was drinking. I was drunk," he groans.
"I get drunk, too, Damon, but do you see me making out with Bonnie's father?" I retort.
I shudder slightly at the image I did not want to have in my head. Damon started to say something but stopped and sighed.
I shook my head and turned to leave but he catches my arm.
"Adrian, I am sorry for what I did to you earlier today after Pearl was here."
"Hopefully that has not been on your conscience, considering other things you should be worrying about," I smirk.
Damon did not share the smirk, which caused me to frown.
"It's okay, Damon don't worry about it. And yes, I am staying here. I'll be in one of the many spare rooms," I reply and make my way up stairs.m, glancing once more at Damon.
