feelings of urgency and patiencefuse together in the grime of a subway station.
ruby red lips are gnawed in anticipation and homely dull eyes shine with friendly oration
the stark white of the train's floor clashes against the warmth of the petals
strewn and left there in a moment of shock, I can see the tears of the one who forgot,
an odd presence washes over me as I stare at the silent scene in front of me
and I wonder what happend to the broken-hearted fool on a subway station.
