Laura's pov
Me and Ross sat down at a table that was really deep in the corner of the cafeteria "are you sure you don't want anything else to eat?" Ross said raising one eyebrow and making a funny face while starring at my apple "Yeah" I said through laughter Ross laughed a little then ate his food "we still have 30 minutes of lunch do you want to go to the band room?" Ross said standing up "yeah sure" we hurried out of the cafeteria and into the band room we technically weren't supposed to be in here during lunch but oh well me and Ross rarely got caught doing anything bad I guess you could say that where such wallflowers that the teachers don't notice us that much. I sat down, and grabbed my guitar and started strumming to a song by Bruno Mars called 'count on me' me and Ross called it our song because the lyrics talked about how no matter what we will be there for each other I started to sing

We stopped there and laughed a little "gosh Ross thanks for being my best friend" "the pleasure is all mine" we laughed before getting up and walking to our last classes of the day. I zoned out through my last couple classes sense Ross wasn't in any of them and I didn't really talk to anyone else because most people at our school are super mean but luckily time actually flew and before I knew it I was walking to Ross's car to meet him so we could go home "hey Laur" he said as we arrived at his car shortly after I did "hey how where the rest of your classes?" "Ok they where boring because you weren't in any of them" "same I can't wait till tour" "yeah we can escape school for 2 months" I nodded excitedly and got in the passenger side of Ross's car "so today after we where in the band room I walked to my next class and Bryce wouldn't even look me in the eyes" I started conversation "haha he's all talk and no walk" Ross continued "that jerk isn't actually tough and at lunch as we where walking out I heard his friends say that they never though he was weak until now" Ross laughed "serves the jerk right he needs a taste of his own medicine" we both laughed before pulling up in front of Ross's house which happens to be like my house right now too we walked in "hey Riker" we said as we saw the tall blonde sitting at the kitchen counter on his phone "hey guys how was school?" "Ross almost beat up Bryce" we both laughed "wait really!?" Riker knew who Bryce was because he was so stupid he got held back enough that he was also in Rikers class "yeah Bryce threatened Laur so I threw him up against the lockers" Ross shrugged "nice work bro" Rocky said walking into the kitchen as if he herd everything "thanks bro" Ross nodded in is direction "hey guys" Stormie said walking into the kitchen we all stopped talking about Ross almost beating up Bryce because Stormie would probably kill him "Ross almost beat up Bryce maxwell today at school" Rydel walked in "DEL!" Ross glared at her "why did you tell mom?!?" He continued to complain "you almost got into a fight with someone Ross why!?" "Because he threatened Laur so I wasn't just gonna stand back and watch" "good job standing up for her Ross I'm not mad" Stormie is the best I thought to myself Ross smiled at me "Laur do you want to go up stairs and hangout for a bit?" "Sure" I followed Ross upstairs and to his room "thank goodness I thought mom was going to kill me!" He said it like she was my mom to which she basically was "mom just doesn't want you to fight people" Rydel said opening his door and walking in and then closing it again she sat in his desk chair "I know but Laura is my best friend I can't let him hurt her what was I supposed to do?" I blushed at the conversation before laying down on Ross's pillow it smelled so good I laughed at myself I had a crush on my own best friend
