Laura's pov
The first class I had was math and I'm awful at math and being late didn't help but being late did get me and Ross back together so I didn't much care. All through math class I starred at Ross it seemed like the teacher was speaking a different language I didn't understand any of it "Laura what's the answer to number ten?" I looked at the problem "434?" "No close but re work it and we will come back to you" my teacher smiled at least Miss.higgens is nice I tried re working the problem but didn't understand it "Laura did you finish problem ten yet?" Miss.higgens asked "I tried but I don't get it" she walked over to my desk and started helping me and then walked back to her desk "that girl Laura is so stupid" I heard laughs from the back of the room and Ross must have heard them to because he turned to me and mouthed 'don't listen to them' I smiled he was so sweet. After class I walked to my locker head low I didn't understand math and because of that I would be made fun of "hey Laura!" I heard Maddie's mocking voice come from behind me "i was looking for math help and I was wondering if you would help me? Oh wait sorry I forgot that your not very smart, it's probably because your an orphan!" I tried to ignore her but the last part stung "leave her alone Maddie" I heard Ross say as she walked away "are you ok?" He locked out fingers together I shook my head it wasn't until now I realized I actually was an orphan he hugged me "don't let her make you cry that's what she wants" he whispered I straitened up and smiled and nodded before walking to my second class Ross wasn't in it and Bryce and Maddie both where, great. I walked in and sat at a desk in the back corner "oh Laura!" Bryce said walking over to me "I know your kinda busy being an orphan and all but you should probably work harder in math you look stupid when you don't" he turned and walked away tears stung my eyes but I didn't let them fall after class I walked to my locker to see a note shoved in the edge of it I pulled it out and it read
"Meet me in the south all next class just ask to go to the bathroom I need to talk to you!<3
Love Ross"
He's so cute I put the note in my bag before heading to next class once class had started and was about ten minutes in I asked to go to the bathroom and went to the south hall but to my surprise Ross wasn't there and Maddie and her Gang of Four other girls where there Ashely, Reagan, jasmine and Ashton I wanted to leave but she would just follow me so I continued to stand in the hallway
Ross's pov
I sat in class thinking about Laura and how she was being treated it wasn't fair I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see Bryce "what?" I whispered he handed me a note
"Your little girlfriend is about to get her ass kicked to bad you can't save her now! ~Bryce
He stood up and asked to use the bathroom and my heart filled with panic what was he going to do to her I asked to use the bathroom and followed him down the hall where I saw five girls already with Laura and now four boys where approaching it was Chase, max, Cody and Bryce my heart was beating rapidly I was not going to let them hurt her I ran over to her "take me not her she's done nothing wrong" I shoved Laura behind me. "See Ross I know I want to hit you where it hurts and yeah I could beat you up but Physical pain would heal in a couple days but watching your girlfriend get hurt emotionally hurts you and her and seeing her hurt makes you so upset and hurt so that sounds like more fun" "seriously! Please don't touch her I'll do anything just please leave her alone" I begged "no" Chase and Max grabbed me and held me against the lockers I saw Bryce grab Laura "no!" I struggled to pull away but soon Cody helped them hold me and there was no way I was moving Bryce pushed Laura to the floor then kicked her side "NO LAURA! BRYCE PLEASE STOP!" Laura cried in pain soon the girls helped her up before Maddie slapped her across the face twice! Bryce pushed her again and this time he they all started walking away but he stepped on her wrist on the way the other guys soon let me go and I rushed to Laura "Laura!" I helped her sit up she was crying and holding her wrist in pain "shh it's ok I'm here" I helped her up before picking her up bridal style and taking her to the school nurse, I explained what happened and the nurse looked Laura over while I waited outside in the hall. Soon Laura came out with a brace on her wrist but nothing else "I'm so sorry Laura I should have come faster I should have stopped them!" "Ross it's ok you tried and you did everything you could" the nurse followed her out "she's going to need to go home early I'll tell the office it's ok you both leave for medical reasons your excused" I helped Laura to my car her side still really sore and we drove home.
"Ross your home early!" My mom said as me and Laura came through the door "Laura got beat up by Bryce and Maddie and they sent us home early" my mom looked worried "is she ok?" "She has a broken wrist but other then that she's just a little sore" Laura walked in after me "are you ok sweetie?" She nodded "I'm really tired though" I picked her up and carried her upstairs and gave her a sweatshirt and some of Rydel's sweat pants to wear she changed and then laid down in my bed she winced as she did though "Laura let me see you side" she lifted the side of her shirt reveling the fact that almost her entire side was a bruise "I'm going to kill him" I muttered as I went downstairs to get her some ice once I reached my bed again she was crying "Laur what's wrong?" "My side really really hurts" I gave her the ice and pulled her into my lap she laid her head in the crook of my neck as she put the ice on her side "it's ok it will feel better soon" I kissed her forehead before flicking on the tv
