I checked my phone with despair. When was Aiden going to text me that he had reached New York? I began to fiddle with my duvet. Since I was so anxious, I ran down the stairs silently and straight towards the refrigerator. I grabbed a tub of Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough ice cream. Every girl knows that if her boyfriend is not texting her then Ben & Jerry's ALWAYS comes to the rescue. So I slipped a spoon out of the cupboard and began to sprint back up the stairs towards my bedroom.
I slipped into the duvet and switched on the TV. It was my favourite program. Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Everyone knows Kendall is THE best. No offence Kim. As soon as I put the volume up, my phone beeped and the WhatsApp notification appeared. The message was from Aiden. The love of my life. The message read out: "Hey babes Am here Miss u so much<3" I looked at the text and beamed until my cheeks ached. Then I stuffed my face with B&J until I got face freeze. And 2 hours later, I was dreaming about Liam Hemsworth (do not tell Aiden).
