But I said quite possibly the worst thing to say at this time.
"I want you to apologize."
He looked at me, confoundly. "You came to ask me to apologize to you? For what?"
"For everything. I don't like holding grudges, okay? So just apologize. For real this time."
He crossed his arms and leaned in the doorway..
"Last time I apologized... things didn't work out well, now did they?"
"Well, I think you need to apologize again."
"I don't think so."
"I think you should."
"I'm not going to."
"I didn't come here to argue, Randy."
"And I'm not standing here waiting to hear us argue."
"Then what are you waiting for?"

He shrugged slowly and stared down at the floor. "I dunno what I'm waiting for."
I looked up at him. ... Why is he acting so different? What happened to the so-called "Fearless Viper?"
"Why do you think you know so much about me?" He asked.
"I never said I did."
"Yeah but you act as if you do."
"And how do I do that?"
"What makes you think I hate you so much?"
