LATER THAT DAY, all that I can do again was watch. I watched as you invited her over to your lunch table. I watched as she agreed. I watched how she sat beside you. I watched how you friends glaced at each other in approval of her.
And that moment I realized. She must be special for you to let her sit by your side, you never let anyone sit with you by your lunch table. They're exceptionally for your good pals and their girlfriends only.
It was a place that I can only dream about of sitting.
