Your sitting at the dinning table, waiting for jack to come home.

It was his birthday and all of his friends and family were bunched up together in the living room, waiting to yell 'surprise'.

You hear a couple of jacks friends chuckling at something.

You listen closely;

"I think I can hear his car." A voice said.

"Nope. That's just Marks stomach grumbling." Another voice said.

Then all of them burst out laughing.

"Shhh." You whisper.

You sit there for a couple of minutes, waiting for jack to come home.

You check your phone for the time.

'6:07pm' it read.

He was suppose to come home at 6pm.

You wait and wait until there was no patience left.

You stand up and stand in front of the door.

"I think jack is working late so-..." You say but you get knocked down because of someone opening the door.

"SURPRISE!" everyone yells. Except you because you're on the floor.

"Omfg!!! Thanks!" Jack yells in surprise. Then he notices you on the floor.

"Sorry (Yn)." He laughs, helping you up.

"Happy birthday." You say, giving him a kiss hello.
