It was Christmas eve and you notice jack was very secretive.

"Jack? Is everything alright?" You say, walking into the the bedroom you shared with him.

You hear a shuffling noise and jack comes out, with a scratch on his nose.

"Are you OK?" You say, giggling.

"I'm fine." He says quickly.

Suddenly you hear a thump.

You raise my eyebrow at jack and he sighs.

"I was going to give it to you on Christmas but I think I've given it away." He says, going back into the room and then handing me a box.

You look inside the box and there was a gray kitten with a note in it's collar.

You squeal in delight and hug jack.

"Read the note." Says Jack.
