Jack's POV

My car tilted down as the ground rushed toward me and the breath caught in my throat. 'What have you done?' rang in my ears. It was my ex-girlfriend's. I upset her and she was about to breakup with me. I jumped in the car and did what I was doing now. Except last time I didn't make it this far. The glass broke in slow motion as my eyes closed perparing for the impact. Then everything became miles away.

Austin's POV

I kneeled on the ground as Sofia's whole body shook from sobs.
"Shh..It's okay..." I said holding back my tears, Jack was one of my friends and now... No no. It wasn't that far down. I'm sure he made it. Yeah..no doubt...

Sofia's POV

Gone. His car flew right over the cliff and out of sight, the sirens around me we're loud but I just ignored them. All the sounds aroud me vanished and only my own sobs and the sound of Austin's voice was what I could hear.' Jack. Jack, went right over the cliff...because of me.' Guilt rushed through me as I opened my eyes to look over the cliff. I saw people pulling Jack out of his car which was smashed into many pieces. Austin's arms were wrapped around me as I sat there and the sobs quited until they were no more.

Austin's POV

Sofia fell asleep in my arms and I carried her to a police car where I was informed by the woman that they still didn't know if Jack was going to make it. I noded my head and the police officer took us back to the hospital in silence. I sat Sofia in my front seat, she curled into a ball and snored lightly. I locked the doors and walked up to Jack's room where they were busy setting up an IV and checking his pulse.

Jack's POV

beep...beep...beep...

'What the hell is that sound?! I swear I'm gonna murder it!'
"He's waking up!" I'm what now? I groaned as a sudden burst of pain shot through my whole body. "Shh Jack you need to rest."
"Who?! Who are yo-" I began to ask when something pinched me hard on my arm as I saw a needle make contact with my skin. The world around me started getting blurry as I drifted off into sleep.

Sofia's POV

I woke up clutching Austin's passenger seat in the car. I carefully unlocked the door and stepped out. I was about to faint because of dehydration when two arms caught me.
"Austin..?" I asked my voice slurring as a he carried me to his car. Wait a minute...this isn't Austin's car... this car smells like a forest and trees, this smells like smoke and tabacco. My eyes flashed open and I hoped out of the car and started to run.
"Come back here!" A grumpy voice yelled from behind me as he slowly got closer and closer.
"Sofia! Sofia!"
"Austin?!" I yelled out and started crying but kept running.
"AUSTIN!"

"Hey Sofia take it easy it was only a dream." My eyes poped open to see Austin looking over me.
"Oh...."
"Hey but if your screaming my name then that's a place I want to be." I smacked him hard and he gave me a look of hurt amd I chuckled lightly.
"How's Jack?" I asked suddenly getting worried.
"They still don't know if hes okay, it's like a 50-50 chance." Austin said looking sad.
"Austin?"
"Mm?" Austin asked, I suddenly noticed how much on top of me he was, his arms on either side of me and he was looking down at me from where he was standing and I swallowed quickly.
"I know who I want to be with."
