This is what the special words mean:

(f/n) = First Name

(l/n) = Last Name

(y/n) = Your Name (what your friends call you or your first name)

(h/c) = Hair colour

(e/c) = Eye colour

I'm so nervous! Today is my first day as a member of Levi's Squad. Me and a small group of soldiers have been training with him for a few weeks to prepare for more advanced missions. I get out of bed and quickly change into my uniform. As I pull on my green cape with the Wings Of Freedom emblem on it, I hear a knock on my door. 

"Who is it?" I ask. 

"It's Armin" The voice shouts back. "Levi wants to see you in his office" I hesitate before answering. Levi scares me a little. Then again, he scares everyone.

"I'll be there in a minute!" I finally say. I can hear Armin walking away from my room. I pull on my brown boots and head towards Levi's office. I knock on his door.

"Come in" Comes a voice, it's unmistakeably Levi's. I take a deep breath before pushing open the wooden door. His office is surprisingly clean. All of his windows are open and everything is neatly arranged. My eyes flick towards Levi. This is the first time that I've seen him this close. Most of the time, I'm looking at him from the large crowd of young Survey Corps. I suddenly snap back to reality and realise that Levi has been staring at me the whole time. I gulp. He quickly glances down at what looks like a file then back up at me. 

"(f/n) (l/n)" He mumbles. "What an unusual name"

"Uh, yes sir. M-my mother used to have a good friend called (y/n)" I stutter. Levi eyes me for a moment, there's something about the way he looks at me, but I can't put my finger on it. He doesn't speak. "You wanted to speak to me, sir?" I ask. He glares at me. I suddenly realise that I'm shaking.

"You're scared of me aren't you?" He finally asks flatly.

"Um, n-no sir. I mean, yes sir. I mean-" I start to trip over my words. Levi lets out an annoyed sigh.

"Just go" He says and looks back at his paperwork. 

"Yes sir" I say and salute him. I quickly walk to the door and open it. Before I leave, I risk a quick glance over my shoulder. I could have sworn that for a split second, I saw him looking at me. I turn back around and close the door behind me. I lean against the door and let out a heavy sigh of relief. Wow, I think. His looks are so powerful. I give myself a moment to relax and then head towards the dining hall.

I scan the hall, looking for a place to sit. All of the tables are full. It kind of reminds me of when I used to go to school. I sigh sadly and take a slice of bread and an apple from the food table. I guess I'll be eating on my own. I walk off towards the stable and sit by my new horse. It is a stallion with jet black hair and brown eyes. I call him Shadow. I am about to bite into my apple before I see Shadow looking at me eagerly. I groan and reluctantly give him the apple. All I have left is the slice of bread that looks like it is literally made from dust. I guess this will have to do, I think. Before I can even put the slice to my mouth, I slip in a particularly wet patch of mud. "Great! My uniform is filthy, my hair is all muddy and I have no food!" I cry. I can't be bothered to get up so I just lay there, in the mud. Tears roll down my cheeks as I cry at how shitty the morning has been. 

"You know, if you were going to roll in mud then you could have at least taken your jacket off" Remarked a familiar voice.

"Captain Levi!" I gasp and try to hide my face. I feel so embarrassed.
