Until God
Comes down here and says
That every time
Two women wed
He makes a mental note
To send them to hell
I'm going to maintain the belief that, well
we can't paraphrase a book
Written thousands of years ago
Treat it like an original
Of modern times
You can't claim your god exists
And that he loves you
And turn around
And say it's true
That he doesn't love someone
Because of who they love
God's up above
And if he exists, I hope his love
Extends out to everyone
No matter who they love.
