Chapter 11

The meal goes by relatively quickly, our casual catching-up conversations which leads to a flirty comment or two. Usually from Harry, sometimes by me. We end up talking about the most random of things which leads to Harry trailing off about his family. I've met them once, when I was in London with him last December and they're all a very lovely family. I can see where Harry gets it from.

He rambles about Gemma and her studies, how well she's doing. Its shocking to see how genuinely concerned he is for his sister, its adorable really. Instead of listening, I zone out to focus on his appearance. His mop of dark brown hair, his dimple-ridden smile, the piercing green eyes that make you melt, and a personality to match. He's gorgeous. I'm falling for him all over again and somehow he's managing to work down my walls again. We haven't repeated the words we constantly told eachother back in December, Harry probably giving me some space. But I do love him, more than anything. And trust is a parallel to love so I gotta trust him, right?

As the night drags on over the sky, we decide to go inside and continue talking. Flopping down on the couch in Harrys arms have always been a comforter whenever I've had a bad time. Talking with him was just so easy and if I got too emotional while talking, he'd kiss me immediately which shuts me up. Which is what he does now as I get a little too wound up about the hate circling us.

I've never been so invested into hate before but once I glance at one, it only beckons me to read 5 more, and so on and so on. This time it honestly hurts me, my self esteem is low as it is but this hate is not helping.

"They don't know, babe. Please don't read what they send you. They have no idea. I love you," Harry explains, resting his forehead on mine for stability. A smile finds its way to my face, one that hasnt felt this real in awhile. My heart soars, I love him. Everything about him.

"I love you too, Harry," I whisper, tilting my head up from his chest to meet his lips to mine. He grins, dimples finding their way out once more. We sit there looking into eachothers eyes, smiling like idiots. We've said this before, many many times but for some reason this time it feels like the first time. My heart beat races as his lips graze mine lightly. I let my eyes close and give him a short, passionate kiss before leaning back onto his chest. The silence settles comfortably, Harrys hands playing with my straight hair while I button and unbutton his collar shirt. I fall asleep there in his arms, to the steady rhythmic sound of his heartbeat.
