New Day

It's Monday again and I've been thinking about Saturday since yesterday morning and I just can't believe that I actually hung out with him....alone. What was I thinking? I don't even know if I like him, but today is a new day which means a new mind.
**I go to pick up Stacey and I'm actually on time but that's because I couldn't sleep so I call her.**
"Hey Stacey I'm on my way."
Stacey:"omg your early for once."
"Haha shut up I'll be there in like 10."
Stacey:"Kay see you then."
**the whole way there I think of Jamie.**
Of course when I get to Stacey's house she not done so I go in.
Stacey:"you okay girl?"
"No I am not."
Stacey:"is it about Saturday?"
"Yes."
Stac:"do u regret it?"
"No but I think he likes me."
Stac:"how would you know that?"
"Because he said that we should hang out again."
Stace:"so what's wrong with that? He's hot and he obviously thinks your pretty so what's the problem?"
"I don't know."
Stac:"well stop over thinking it and date him already."
"Okay I'm going to go on another date and get to know him more......yeah.thank you Stacey."
Stac:"your welcome."
"What would I do with out you?"
Stac:"not get any hot boys that's for sure."
"Your right."
Stac:"damn right I'm right."
"Can we go, I didn't come here early to be late."
Stac:"oh yeah let's go."
The drive to school wasn't that long we got there a couple minutes before the bell. We met up with Jamie and walked to class.
"Hey Jamie I thinking and I do want to hang out again."
Jamie:"really?"
"Yeah. I think it'll be fun you, me and no one else."
Jamie:"sounds fun but I get to decide where we go this time."
"Deal."
Class takes forever but I don't mind because I'm thinking of Jamie the whole time and I can't stop smiling.
The periods leading up to lunch take FOREVER but at least I have it with Jamie. And of course stacey.
"Hey Stacey."
Stacey:"hey karter. So before the jay man comes are you guys gonna hang out again?"
"Yep this weekend."
Stacey gives a whispered scream.
Stac:"that's amazing I'm happy for you I think he's good for you."
"Me too."
Jamie meets is at our lunch spot. We actually sit at a table now instead of benches.
"So Jamie have you thought about where you wanna go this weekend?"
Jamie:"no I haven't actually but I'll have it thought out by Friday. I want to surprise you though so your out of luck little lady."
We all smile. Lunch out of all things decide to end very quickly today and that sucks. The rest of the day was slower than the first half but I get home.
"Hey momma."
Mom:"hello my baby. How was school?"
"It was long."
Mom:"did anything good happen?"
"Jamie asked me on another date."
Mom:"He did?!?"
"Yes mom he did and I'm so happy!"
Mom:"are you excited?"
"Very. He's the first guy who has ever liked me or at least showed interest and it feels great mom."
Mom:"good I'm very happy for you. But I will have to cut him if he hurts my baby."
"That's kind of illegal mom."
Mom:"Maybe your right but no one hurts my baby."
"Okay well I'm gonna do my homework and then get ready for bed."
Mom:"okay."

Jessie:"so little bro how was your day?"
"It was fine"
Jess:"anything new happen?"
"I asked karter on another date."
Jess:"why?"
"Because I like her."
Jess:"but your grounded."
"Grounded?"
Jess:"yes grounded."
"For what exactly?"
Jess:"for coming in late the other night."
"It's not like we're going out tonight I asked to go on Saturday."
Jess:"what if I decided to ground you longer?"
"There's no point in that because I would've learned my lesson by then."
Jess:"would you really have?"
"Yes and plus I don't have any other friends besides karter and Stacey so I wouldn't be getting into trouble with anyone so please Jess"
Jess:"okay but don't make me regret it."
"I won't I promise."
They hug and Jamie finishes his homework and gets ready for bed.
