Meet Ned:
Ned is an 8 month old brindlequin Great Dane. Brindlequin means he has spots like a harlequin but his spots are stripey, like a brindle. He's very happy, very excitable and very affectionate. Last night he sat in the vet's lap so he could kiss her.
We brought ned home at the end of November 2015 and have been working hard to train him ever since:
Over the last 8 months Ned has put on 100 pounds and now stands at about 34" at the shoulder. He is definitely a bruiser.
He is also a very delicate flower. He has had pink eye (a couple of times now, gross) and a weird rash. He has a VERY sensitive stomach and seasonal allergies (did I mention dogs are gross?). We are becoming good friends with the vet.
His delicate nature means that he is also afraid of...a lot of things. Anything with wheels; strollers for example. Spiders. Plastic swans. You name it, it'll spook ned.
I thought it was only fitting to keep a photo journal of Neddy and the things that scare him.
