Chapter 8

     He pulls me into the water. That little b*tch. I need to change now, he's in for a whole lot of crap when I figure out who he is in human form, he will get a slap across the face and it will hurt.

     I finish giving him a bath and I get changed out of my wet bra and underwear. I put my dry clothes on and got a towel to dry him off. I got his neck down dry, now I just have to get his face. I take the towel and rub it all over his face making his hair stand up and look really funny. I laugh and he growls playfully

   "Oh shut up, you look hilarious" I said and he shook his head back and forth. I got done drying him and walked out into my room and check the time. Oh crap I only have 5 minutes till I have to go get Joshua and it takes 10 minutes to get there. What ever I'll just go over the speed limit a little, no bad idea.

   "Sorry I have to go and get Joshua, but see you after school. K, bye" I said and then ran out the door, heading to my car. I got in the car checked my hair and it was ok, I decided not to wear make up or have any one do my hair so my hair is just in a ponytail and it's naturally straight. I start the car and drive off.

     I get out of the car and I'm walking to the front door of Joshua's house. I knock and this nice woman opens the door

   "Hello, may I help you" she said with a bright welcoming smile

   "Oh. I'm here to give Joshua a ride to school" I said and she made an oh face and nodded

   "Well, come in come in. I'm Joshua's mom, my name is Crystal Black, and you are?" Crystal asked and let me in. She led me to the living room and we sat down on the couch

   "I'm Athena Heat its nice to meet you. So do you know how long it will be until Joshua's done, we're kind of in a hurry, you see I'm like 5 minutes late, did he get a ride with someone else maybe" I said and she laughed, I was confused by this

   "No Josh is probably in his room putting cologne on. He would never miss going with a pretty and very nice girl like you and he would never miss talking with you because of your rank obviously" she said and I nodded. Wait is she a werewolf and maybe so is Josh and his friends, I never even thought about that.

   "So what rank are you and what rank do you think I am?" I asked and she smiled and straightened her posture

   "Josh and you are alph-" she was about to finish when Josh interrupted

   "Sorry I'm late, I woke up later then I should have which is weird" he said giving his mom a glare and then looked at me I just acted like I didn't notice. I stood up from the couch

   "Well it was nice meeting you Mrs Black, I hope I will see you again" I said and shook her hand. She got up and nodded

   "Yeah I hope I see you again. And please call me Crystal" she said and I nodded then walked over to Josh, he waved bye to his mom and gave her a kiss on the cheek before we left. We just entered my car and I started it and was about to leave when he stopped me for some reason

   "She didn't say anything like, alpha or anything close to that right" he said, I decided to play dumb and just looked at him confused. He must not know I'm a werewolf too. Wait Josh is an alpha, omg. I just got this, god I'm slow, I really should have had my coffee this morning. I wonder what his werewolf looks like, since his human form is Smok'in hot. Ahh never mind not the point.

   "What? Why would she say that? isn't alpha like, another word for a leader or something" I said and he sighed and relaxed a little. Huh, note to self, Josh is really gullible.
