Do you ever feel dark?

Like your soul has been tainted?

Like the devil himself had laid his hands on you?

I can't be the light in anyone's life.

I drain happiness.

So, I admire it from afar as everyone enjoys it.

Maybe, one day, I'll be smiling in a meadow without a care in the world.

But that's not today.

Or any time soon.
