crazier than the mad hatter
(who, by the way, accompanied
me through today's walk to the library) so my only friend is my cat

my first love was harry
(we had our first kiss in a
half-built hogwarts in the
heart of wonderland)
my first friend was the blue caterpillar
(i once saw him hanging
from a lotus tree)
but he died shortly after
when zeus shot that lotus tree
this is how zeus became my first enemy
so i decided to erase his thunderbolt
the first person
(and the only)
i've told about my gift
was my father
my father who wears effie trinket's wig
and has a mermaid's tail
these were my words;
dad, i live in a fairytale
and then i began explaining
this is when he decided to
homeschool me
that's when i also decided that
hercules will be my teacher
he may tell me how to defeat medusa
(which, by the way, lives in my closet)
this is how things are for me
want some advice?
do as i do
draw anything in the
middle of nowhere
paint castles and villages
and erase them whenever
you want to
you can leave them as they are
hoping that one day,
they will become reality
do it literally though.
