Your POV

"HEY GUYS!" I yelled to them, as I squished in between Stan and Kyle at their lunch table.

"Oh. Hey, (Y/N). How was your--"

"It was great, thanks for asking, Kyle!" I answered his question quickly. "How was your day?"

"Well, it was--" i cut him off again.

"Thats great, Kyle!"

"Looks like someone's in a good mood." Stan pointed out, taking a bite of his sandwich.

"So, whats gotten into you today, (Y/N)?" Kenny asked from the other side of the table.

"Good news!" I exclaimed. "Ive gotten new jokes!"

The 3 of them groaned in disappointment.

"I thought our suffering was over!"

"Did I hear someone say joke?" Someone suddenly puts their hand onto my shoulder making me jump.

"Oish. Clyde, you ass. You scared me." I punched him playfully on his shoulder.

"Whoops." He smiled apologetically."Anyhoo, seriously. Did someone say joke cause Craig, Tweek and Token are really boring and I just wanna hear a joke."

"We heard that!" I heard a voice yell from behind.

I looked behind Clyde, only to find 3 boys staring at our table not too far away.

Hm. Never met them before.

"Welp. Gather around kids!" I say.

Kenny rolled his eyes.

"Mkay. What do you call the most powerful father?"

They stayed quiet.

"A godfather."

It was quiet for just a second, before Clyde broke down laughing, making us join in and laugh at his laugh.

"That was.. So stupid!" Clyde said as his laughter died down a bit.

"Hoish. (Y/N), you have got to stop with these jokes!" Kenny exclaimed.

"Never!"

Kenny POV

A loud sigh escaped my lips as I walked away from the school.

I shouldve ditched it earlier..

"What a day, what a day.."  I mutter under my breathe, staring at the blue-ish gray-ish sky above me.

"Hm. What to do..?" I wondered aloud. It was cold, and had started to snow a while ago.

Theres no way I was going back to school, and going home wasnt an option either.

If my parents were there, who knows what they'll do to me if they found out that I ditched school.

Again.

I dug my hands deeper into my pockets, trying to hide them from the cold.

Though, it wasnt working.

I continued to walk, then ended up at a small playground.

It wasnt much.

Just a small area, with some swings, a rusty slide, and a Teeter-totter.

I sat down on a swing, and sighed.

Without noticing, my mind suddenly wondered off and to a certain (H/C) haired girl.

She's really something.

She's not stupid, I'll give her that.

Unlike other girls, she doesnt easily fall for my flirty attempts.

I chuckled quietly to myself.

(Y/N) was..

What was she to me?

She is my friend.

Nothing more.

Right?

And its normal to think your girl friend is beautiful, right?

Its normal to think she's cute, smart, caring, weird, funny...

Of course its normal to think that!

But how come, if I say that to her face, it'd seem as if she's not a friend to me?

But someone I like.

But she's an idiot. Not in a bad way though.

I love her weird jokes. I wonder where she gets them from..

(Y/N) was very interesting.

She seems to have interest in a lot of things..

  I groaned in frustration.

What am I doing?

Even if I did like her, what chance do I have?

Im known as a flirty player!

(Y/N)'s not stupid!

She's.. She's...!

Why am I thinking like this?

Rather, why am I acting like this?

Ive never thought about a girl this way.

I mean, I have but it wasnt serious.

Why do I feel the need to impress her?

Why, am I not good enough?

Of course Im not!

Im not her dream guy, obviously!

Theres so many things not to like about me!

And yet, Im still chasing after a girl who I know I have no chance with.

I suddenly stand up from the swings and balled up my fists at my sides.

"Im Kenny motherfucking McCormick!" I exclaim.

"I can get any girl I want! And Ive almost never had a problem with doing so!"

...

"Almost.."

I sighed, as my lips formed a smirk. I let out a small laugh.

"Oh. (Y/N)." I say. "Looks like I've fallen for you."
