Asher cooked ham and cheese omelette with tuyo and sinangag for Gian
This is not the first time she did this for him
Every time he does her a favor this is always her payment
When breakfast was served Gian immediately ate his heart out
Asher did the same
They both ate with their bare hands and one leg brought up the chair
“Sheng, magkano pala budget natin dun sa lakad natin?”
Gian asked while his mouth is full
That’s the best thing about them – no pretensions
They can eat like cavemen without any hint of timidity
“Two thousand?”
She asked
“Ha? Baka naman di tayo makauwi nyan.”
Gian contradicted
“Eh yun lang pera ko eh. Magkano ba dapat?”
Asher asked
“Sobrahan mo na siguro mga five to six thousand”
“Hala. Eh wala akong pera, Yan”
“Ako nga rin. Walang pera. Alam mo naming kakagraduate lang natin kaya poorita pa ako”
“Hahaha! Poorita! Ang bakla mo.”
“Hala. Eh sayo ko lang narinig yan ginaya na lang kita eh”
Gian said with an irritated face
“Ginaya ko lang rin kina Shin yun eh”
“Onga pala di mo ba isasama sina Shin at Yeng?”
“Pwede rin. Kaso kailangan kasama ka parin. Nakaktakot kaya…”
