"Sheng"
She heard Gian's voice that they both turned to him
His eyes were filled with concern
"Hinanap kita akala ko nakasunod ka lang sa'kin. Di ko alam na..."
Naputol ang sinasabi niya nang maramdaman ang yakap ni Asher. Humihikbi ito...
"Yan... huhuhu!" Umiiyak siya habang nakasubsob ang mukha sa dibdib ng kaibigan
"Hinabol ako nung aso tapos..."
"Tapos she bumped into me. Buti na lang nothing happened to her, pare."
Randolph butted in.
Gian felt sorry for Asher, he tapped her back and looked at the guy
"Salamat."
"Randolph by the way"
He extended his hand
"Gian. Thanks for helping her."
Randolph nodded
"Anyway I need to leave. Next time miss mag ingat ka ah."
"Thanks"
Was all Asher replied
When the man was gone, Gian combed Asher's hair with his fingers.
"Okay ka na ba? Sorry talaga Sheng ah."
Asher didn't answer
"Uy"
he tickled her side
"Heh! anong klaseng bestfriend ang nang iiwan sa ere? ha?"
she looked mad
"Wag ka na magalit.. tutal.. nagkatotoo naman ang wish mo diba..."
"Ang alin?"
She asked
"Na magka chance ka kay Randolph. "
"Ah... Oo nga."
Then she half-smiled.
"Tara na."
She stood up and started to walk
Gian followed her lead
"No I can't spell it out for youuuuu..."
Asher started humming while walking

Randolph was already at home but his thoughts were still back on that street where she met the frightened girl earlier.
He puffed
"Too bad he already has a boyfriend. "
He whispered

The next day, Asher was sitting on the park with Shin and Yeng, her other friends.
It was a park inside the subdivision where Asher lives in.
They have never done this since they graduated
As students they were always hanging out, jamming with guitars on hand inside the premise of their alma mater, UST together with their other friends
"Guys may bago akong cinompose na kanta.."
Yeng took hold of the guitar
"Let's hear it."
Shin, their kikay friend looked excited
Yeng has always been a great composer.
Asher and Shin love to listen to her songs.
