"So did you like my school?" Ben asked once school ended and we were in his car on the way to his house.

"Yeah. The people are way nicer than at my school. Teachers too," I replied.

He glanced over at me. "Really? Most of the people here are self-centered. Especially the girls."

"It didn't seem like it."

"Well maybe it's just 'cause I've known them a lot longer."

"Yeah. Probably."

"Anyways, I was thinking about going to Allison's party tonight. Wanna go with me?"

"Um.. Well... I kinda just wanted to stay at your house and relax if that's okay."

"Yeah, sure. We can stay home. No problem."

I looked at him. "We?"

"Yeah. If you aren't going neither am I." We pulled into his driveway.

"No, you don't have to do that," I said as we got out of the car and went up to his room. I sat down on the bed. He sat beside me.

"I know but it won't be fun without you."

Are you sure?"

"Yeah." He took my hand and intertwined our fingers together. "We can just have a party of our own." He started leaning in. "Order pizza. Watch a movie. How does that sound?"

"Great." He smiled and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. Then he kissed me. I immediately kissed back. When we broke apart he rested his forehead against mine. "Thank you."

He looked confused. "For?"

"For saving my life. If it weren't for you I'd be at home with Chase right now most likely getting hit repeatedly. Either that or I'd be dead."

"It's no problem. I didn't want you to get hurt. Besides, I really like you."

I smiled. "I really like you too."

He smiled too. "Good because I'm planning on being with you for a while." He kissed me again but a few seconds later our moment was ruined when his mom knocked on the door.

"Ben and Harmony, what would you guys like for dinner?" she asked.

"Actually I was kind of hoping we could have the house to ourselves tonight," he answered.

"Why?"

"Uh... Well... Allison is having a party tonight but we don't wanna go so we thought we'd just stay home, order a pizza, watch a movie...."

"Oh, sure. I'll go to Aunt Tracy's or something."

"Thanks," Ben said. I heard her footsteps disappear down the hall. He looked at me. "So where were we?" He starting leaning in again until our lips met. A few seconds later we broke apart. "Do you want to watch the movie now?"

"Sure."

"Okay. I'll call the pizza place and order us a pizza first then." He grabbed his cell phone. While he was talking on the phone I noticed a picture on the wall. It was a picture of a little girl who seemed to be about eight years old.

"Harmony?" I shifted my eyes to Ben. "What do you want on the pizza?"

"Just pepperoni is fine."

"Okay." He started talking to the person again and I looked back at the picture trying to figure out who the girl could be until he hung up the phone. "The pizza should be here in twenty minutes."

"Okay. Who's the girl in the picture?"

"Um... she was my sister."

"I didn't know you have a sister."
