Everyone was in complete shock when Lydia was walking in with the odd kid in school: Jeremy Gilbert. He would forever be known as a stoner kid at Mystic Falls High School, but he also was an outcast. Guys who have seen Lydia once or twice around town were jealous.
"What the hell," Elena deadpanned as the two made their way next to her on the bleachers.
Caroline turned towards Elena, "Lydia has this full proof plan to win Stefan over. She thinks she can get him jealous if she's with Jeremy."
"She should've asked me–"
"Don't be such a downer Elena," Caroline interrupted her. "Let Lydia win the guy."
"How are you and Isaac?" Bonnie asked turning around in her seat, changing the subject.

Caroline swallowed and acted like it was the easiest question in the world to answer. "We are absolutely fabulous."

But in reality, they weren't. Isaac did care for the girl, but he knew in about a week he was leaving back for Beacon Hills; long distance relationships weren't something he looked forward to. So, for his time here in Mystic Falls he was deciding to have a little fling with Caroline. Isaac felt bad for doing this, but he wanted no string attached when he left.
Bonnie just nodded her head at her friend's response and looked back on the field.
"Are you and Scott ever going to get out of the friend zone?" Caroline retaliated back at Bonnie.
"It's up to him to make the first move," Bonnie sighed looking at the boy she liked on the field.
