What happened to the music?

Once we got to the work place father took us into the employees only room. There were at least 10 guys in the room without us.

"Ok guys this is my two daughters Ace and Isabella" he gestured to me and Ace. "And this is Hunter and Jordan" he showed the boys off. And as we look around we noticed Mike and his wife Doll and as we saw them they rushed over to us and hugged us kids.

"Ok now listen here if you guys think about messing with these kids ill have your head on my wall" Mike and Doll said at the same time.

As our dad and others talked for a bit i felt a little more at home. And as dad and a few of the others left to start their shifts. I felt kinda safe. But something felt very off about this day...
