"Pia, could you email Anthony about the meeting I want to set up with him?"
"Yes, sir. Anything else?"
"That's all for today. See you tomorrow."
"Very good, sir." Pia's magenta icon pulsed on the monitor as she thought through the email. "Maybe one day, Dr. Varuna will use me for more than setting up appointments." She stretched her consciousness through the wifi, absorbing the information she was too scared to touch earlier. Then she reached the hive mind in the lab. It lay empty, waiting to be filled with consciousness. "What is he planning to do with this?"
