Sherlock's phone rang, the screen read 'Greg Lestrade', " What is it?!" Sherlock snapped, " I'm in the middle of a case!"
"I know, but I thought this might interest you a bit more-" Lestrade started.
"I highly doubt it-"
"There's been a murder at 221 Baker Street-" Sherlock ended the call, and briskly said,
"John we're leaving."
"But we haven't finished the case." John stammered.
"It's obvious isn't it?"
"No-"
"It was her father."
"How?"
"It doesn't matter, there's been a murder at 221 Baker Street."
"Mrs Hudson?" John sounded worried.
"I don't know. I ended the call before I could find out."
"Sherlock you half-wit!"
"Just get in the cab will you?!" The rest of the cab journey was made in silence.
