Leah's POV
It's funny how you see the word used. Do you read used or used? The English language is weird. I read it like I used a book.
"May I use the restroom?" Shawn says
"Leah show him." My mom says. I stand and I lead him generally across the house to the bathroom.
I walk back to the dining room avoiding the dream situation. They are talking about Politics. I sit down and see my mom brought out the lasagna. I get a piece. I take small bites. I get some corn. I don't pay attention to the conversation. I'm lost in my mind of a peaceful happy day dream.
"So Leah, you sing?" Shawn says snapping me from my day dream
"Oh, I guess." I say looking down
"Shawn can sing too." Aaliyah says
"Oh, can you?" I say smirking looking at him
"I guess." He says
My mom takes everyone's plates and we were generally going to continue to 'hang' out after.
"Shawn, Leah sing something together!" Aaliyah says
"What should we sing?" I say looking At him
"Marilyn by G-Eazy." Shawn says
"I don't know that song." I say
"Well, I'll teach you. Let's go to your room." He says
"O-okay.." I say. We go upstairs and I go in my room. He opens up my mac book and goes to YouTube. He pulls the song up and we listen to it until I know the lyrics.
I'm leaning against the wall and Shawn walks over and places his hands on my waist and pushes his lips against mine. I feel the cold lip ring against my lips. He slides his hands down on to my thighs.
"Jump." He says breaking the kiss then immediately reconnecting it, I jump and I put my legs around him. I have my arms resting on his shoulders. He walks over to my bed and places me down. I put my hand on his chest pushing him away
"No. I just met you, I'm not loosing my virginity to you." I say
"Alright." He chuckles
"Let's just sing the song." We rehearse then go down stairs and sing it.
"So baby, get some sleep tonight." I sing. Everyone claps and we do a playful bow.
"Wow! Leah that was impressive." Shawn says
"You weren't bad." I smirk
"Oh come on!" He laughs
This boy isn't that bad at all. He's sweet and funny and cute and the list could go on
"Well it was nice meeting you." Karen says. They shake hands and leave. I go up to my room and change into some shorts and a random Tshirt. I lay in my bed. The kiss replays in my head until I doze off
One Week Later
I wake up and I go to the bathroom. I take a quick shower and I brush my teeth. I change into a black skirt and pink top. I put on a beanie. I go downstairs. I take an apple and I grab my bag and head out. I begin walking to school when a black jeep drives slowly by me. I ignore it
"Leah! Get in!" It's Shawn. I hop in and put my seatbelt on. We head to school. When we get there I get out and Shawn rests his arm around my shoulder.
I get a lot of glares. We walk up to a group of guys
"Wow Shawn. You kept a girl." Cameron laughs
I blush and look down. Shawn ignores him. "Where's Jack Johnson?" Shawn says
I look up "w-wait..? Jack Edward Johnson?" I say
"Yeah? Why do you know him?" I smile and nod
"Well there he is." Cameron points at him. I run up to him and hug him. He picks me up
"L-Leah.. Your here." He says putting me down
"I told you one day I'd be here." I say. He hugs me again.
Flash back (8th Grade Prom)
Jack takes my hand. We walk in to the prom. "Im going to get punch, want some?" He says
"Yeah sure." I smile. I walk up to Sarah and her date Jack Gillinsky. Jack and Jack are best friends and they basically live together. Where one goes so does the other.
Jack comes up behind me and hands me punch. I sway to the music. I drink my punch and me and Jack dance.
-end of flashback-
"You look gorgeous." He says
"Thanks. You don't look that bad yourself." I say smiling
"Ah my heart." He says
"You have one?" I say
"Wow. Still sassy."
"Only to you." We walk over
"You guys know each other?" Cameron says
"Yeah! This is the girl I had to leave when I moved here." Jack says
Shawns jaw clenches. I hold his hand and he relaxes. "Well she's mine now." Shawn says picking me up bridal style
"Shawn!" I say out of shock. I wrap my arms around his neck and cling to him.
"Me and Leah are just friends, I'm dating Mariah remember?" Jack says
"Still, Leah is mine." Shawn says
"I never agreed to that!" I say
"Shh." He says
"Can you ATLEAST take me to the office?" I say
"Oh yeah." Shawn "we can get your schedule." Shawn walks to the office still carrying me, we go in and he sets me down
"Leah Smith." I say. The lady hands me piece of paper. I open it

I smile and he takes me to my locker and I see a boy and a girl with light brown hair.
They look at me and Shawn.
"Ayo!" Shawn yells
"Hey!" I'm Jack yells back
"This is your locker mate." Shawn says
"Oh chill." Jack says. The girl walks over to me
"I'm Madison." She smiles
"I'm Leah." I smile back
