All they saw when they followed the angry American and two teens to another hallway was a group of about 9 people ranging from pale skin to a chocolate brown, middle aged teens to young adults, male and females a like.

Though it was easy for anyone to see that a girl around her early twenties was blocking a door that currently her siblings were trying to peacefully get to. She had her eyes shut tight and the dogwood flower crown on her head was missing a few petals. She had chocolate brown hair and tanned skin as if she worked outside for a living.

"North, what's wrong? Where's South?" America cautiously made his way through the crowd of children to the girl and held her face in his hands. "Ella darlin', tell me what's wrong? What did your sister drag ya'll into?" His normal voice was gone and he sounded as his was a raised in the south his whole life.

Ella opened her eyes, which were a turquoise shade which highly contrasted her knee length, violet spaghetti strap dress. Her feet were adorned with simple black flats.

"South said no one could go in the room. She didn't tell me what was inside though." It was obvious that the girl was telling the truth, she sounded too choked up about it to be lying.

He let go of her face and allowed the girl to move aside before turning the knob and entering the room. It was absolute silence inside and outside the room before almost a second later America dragged a young lady out the ear.

She was almost identical to North Carolina with the only big key differences was her outfit and she did not have a flower crown.

Alfred let go her ear only to forcefully tilt her head so she was looking at him. "How could you bring him back? After everything he did to this family, you brought him into this house without my permission? What the hell is going through your mind Grace?"

"Freedom and forgiveness is goin' through my mind FATHER. I taught that was somethin' you fought for once. He's a human, poor boy don't remember a thing. Do you see I'm tryin' to help someone?"

"The fact he started a war that ended 620,000 lives! That's more than we lost in 1812, the Revolution, Korea, Vietnam, and both of the fucking World Wars. He stands for things this country gave up centuries-"

"He's 14!"

"HE'S THE CONFEDERACY!"

"HE'S YOUR BROTHER!" She looked down as if she was shameful of something. "An' my Uncle. He's family an' you never give up on family." She turned to the door and turned the knob. "I would leave you to join him any day." She said with pure seriousness and hate prominent in her strong willed voice.

"You did it once, how do I know you're not gonna do it again?"

"'Cause . . . 'cause I was a child. An' sometimes children do things they shouldn't do. But they do it anyway. An' that's how I acted. All of us of present did it. Sleep well Alfred." She walked in and shut the door softly.

"Let's go to bed." The states that were gathered said a farewell to their father and the countries. "Come one guys." He led them back to rooms in silence.
