We met in a winter wonderland
Under the mistletoe,
Near a fallen snow man.
Shivering in the cold.I was just a stranger,
Yet you took me in,
having no clue if I were a danger,
But this is now and that was then. And now it's over,
And these memories keep on replaying,
But it's over,
I can't help wishing you were staying. You said it's over
Am I supposed to wish you well?
When it's over,
Was this the end you were hoping for?Last December,
Was the best month of my life,
Do you remember?
You use to say I would be your wife. But we were better,
In colder weather.
Once it was warm outside,
You weren't mine.So now it's over,
and you've done moved on,
I'm not sober,
And I can't act like I'm strong. You said to get over us,
That we were never meant to be,
Well I'm trying to get over,
Get over December.
