Angel of darkness
Come to me in the stillness
Of this beautifully sacred night
Take me away
From this hauntingly sculpted nightmare
Let me slip into your thoughts
So I can feel your possessive caress
Knock me down with your venomous touch
Make the sanity leak into my blood
Smile at the mystery of it all
Laugh with the forever playing melody
Drop the mask of innocence
Watch it slip out of your grasp
Don’t leave me in my loneliness
With the echoing screams surrounding me
The words meant to be spoken
Im choking on them, fading
Take the key, lock me up
I am yours to torture, yours alone
And youre here for a guilty pleasure
A single reason in your head
Daring the feelings to come out and play
Mesmerizing lies at the tip of your tongue
Shed away from the light
Shy towards the nothingness
My hearts fragile state
Is so enchanted with your gaze
Evanescent mist sweeping through the door
Captivating me in an illusive dream
Slowly your hands begin to shake
With no tears, no fear
I want to feel your dark embrace
While you hesitantly comply
And I faintly whisper
"save me from myself
My angel of darkness…"
