swallow it
feel the burning sensation
plummet into your stomach
relieving you
momentarily, of the pain
the bittersweet liquid
searching for a way out
releasing the demons
that held you captive
to take away all your thoughts
if for only a moment
and suddenly
you cant breathe
feeling like youre slipping
becoming more unstable
uncontrollable
unstoppable
drowning in the alcohol
sleeping with the drugs
choking on whats left
addicted
to the toxin
coursing through your veins
piercing through your wall
it comes crashing down
as the truth spills out....
